    Useless Pinnacle Customer Non-Service
I use roboform to login to my various accounts, the usb stick it resides on became corrupt and is non readable, I have recovered some info but can't recover my pinny login details.

    I email Pinnacle.

    Here's how it went:

    (Betplom) Hello:

I requested my Pinnacle Sports Client ID and the response received from Pinnacle was that I had to scan and send in
    identification.

I currently do not have access to my scanned ID, I only have credit card statements scanned and available.

Is there any other way I can receive my Pinnacle Client ID?

I'm contacting you via my email address registered with Pinnacle & moneybookers and don't understand why this isn't easier for me.

    I await your response.

    Pinny Responds:

    From:
    Geena - - Customer Service <csd@pinnaclesports.com>

    Dear Sir,

    Thank you for your email.

Please provide us your client ID in order for us to assist you.

    Kind regards,

    Customer Service Department
    Pinnacle Sports

    (CaseNumber-125xxxx_x)

They have great lines and fast payouts but their CS reps are useless cunts.

Plommer - stop being a twat and send them your client ID so they can assist you.

I wrote an angry response then changed my mind before I sent it thinking they would be less likely to help if I insulted them.

I have had more than a few interactions with clueless Pinnacle CS reps over the years.

I ask for my client ID and they respond that they need my client ID in order to assist me.

I know they check IP addresses for different reasons and could easily conclude that my request is legit.

I know, I'm an idiot, I should have just sent it in the first place and this would have never happened.

While I've seen a rare hiccup, I've always been satisfied with Pinny's customer service.

It helps if you say less, and write clearly. A different approach might be:

I lost my account number. Can you please tell me my account number?

My real name is xxxx yyyy. The account is registered to this email. My telephone number, also registered to the account is xxx-yyy-zzzz.

Pinnacle has always focused on giving discounts and having very limited Customer Service, no revelation here.

Lucky you, its their weakest link.

PS: They apologized and asked me for my personal information and my "secret question" and then gave me the info I requested.

Originally they wanted me to scan my License and send it to them, I thought the whole purpose behind a "secret question" was to confirm identity.

if you have a complicated problem, emailing is pretty frustrating. i had this one bankwire problem with them 2 years ago and it took them 3 months 46 email correspondences to get it resolved. if i could call them, i think it would be much faster.

Looks like you got it straightened out, Plommer. Just as a point of interest, over the past 10 years, like Durito and Justin have noted, I too have never had a problem with Pinnacle, except once...And it was massive, as they closed my account under the belief that I had multiple accounts in play. After a quick apology from a higher up, the situation was resolved and all has been well, but man, that was 6 years ago now and I often think back on it and wonder just what the f*** all that was about.....

Stumper, yes, it was finally straightened out.

I asked Pinnacle when I opened my account under what circumstances would they ask for ID and they told me they only require ID for credit card transactions, since I only use moneybookers to fund/withdraw from Pinnacle I never expected them to ask for my ID.

I haven't/won't use a credit card at Pinnacle, they should never ask for my ID.

I have been frustrated a few times when dealing with their customer service, they have made mistakes and refused my request for a supervisor to contact me, I have never gotten past Pinnacles customer service reps to a higher up when I asked.
