North New Mexico was pretty brutal, but it was a pretty drive. Didn't spend a lot of time there.

Dothan, Alabama was pretty shitty.

I have only been to SW New Mexico but I found it interesting. I like the outdoors and history though.

The problem with that is it's extremely hard to find attractive women in US.
There are plenty of grenades and land mines around though.

1. The most boring and depressing place for me was the MEX/US border coming from Tijuana, Mexico to Cali.
Sitting in traffic for 4 hours and just staring at the actual anal gland of an anal cavity.

What a fkng SHITHOLE!

2. Buffalo, New York. Where every single black person (no offense to African Americans comrades here) there glaring at whites in an extremely pissed off manner.

3. Anywhere north of Amos in Quebec. The communities are scummy, poorly maintained, and usually there's an Indian and a French Canadian beating the crap out of each other in the street.

Honorable mentions: Compton, South Central LA, Bronx and Queens.

Boring is a highly subjective term. You could be in the middle of nowhere with the right companion or pastime and have the time of your life. You could also be a homeless guy or a loner in the middle of NYC or Chicago surrounded by endless amounts of people and a plethora of world class amenities and not have anything fun to do. Having said that, Western Texas and Southern Illinois are both pretty brutal. Honorable mention goes to the western portion of Kansas and pretty much the entire state of Mississippi. If you ever get the chance, don't go to any of those places I mentioned. Save your time/money and put it to better use elsewhere.
