If kang wasn't injured maybe but outside of mccutchen and marte I honestly don't think their batters are smart enough or good enough to break arrieta down and drive his pitch count up. It's more then arrieta that's going to get them the win but the one thing the pirates do have as an advantage is the cubs can be undisciplined at the plate and strike out. If Cole could go step for step and force this to a battle of the bullpens then the pirates could win. That being said there's too many things that have to happen for pirates to win. I don't see it

We all know Jake has the numbers, the records etc. However, not making a selection here just a few comments. Even though he has handled the Pirates, I agree with above, this is not the regular season. Pirates are home where they play better. And, this will be the fifth time this year they have faced Jake???? I mean wouldn't think they know him by now???? Not saying they are going to win, just saying they should know what to expect and be more prepared.

Practically the only way the Pirates win is like 1-0 or 2-1 or something like that. If you bet Pirates, just go ahead and parlay it with the under to make it a worthwhile shot. Pirates are not scoring 4+. Home/under is a good way to parlay. You could get like +340 on the parlay. If you like Cole here, that's a good way to play it.
