Turns out that it was Geno's brother who was in an accident and broke some ribs. Geno never called to say he wasn't coming, but agreed to refund IK's money when he saw him in camp. 12 days in, still no pay back. When IK asked for it, Geno got in his face - and got dropped.

I highly doubt their QB situation got better when they were planning on Smith being the 1st string QB.
Comparing stats from different team siuations can be very misleading (imo). I do know this much though- Fitzpatrick is just as garbage a QB as Smith but doesn't run as well. The Jets are in for some offensive misery for sure.

definitely geno got what he deserve and lost any respect in the league he had left. The fact he owed money, which people don't play around with, and taunted the guy by pointing his finger in EK's face and saying you're not going to do anything; that is like slapping someone with a glove back in the day, guaranteed showdown and IK came out a man while Geno showed he is still a boy. I never understood it but man you would have to have quite an ego to be able to step back in the locker room if you're Geno. Everyone is going to think you're a punk bitch plus you can't play QB so double whammy.

Really is bewildering how lucky the Jets are, rarely do you ever get an injury where you know the backup actually gives you a chance to win. Usually you find that out after the fact.
