He's got the stuff, just lacks the mental comsetics, seems like he gets psych'd out by errors and other stupid stuff most pitchers can block out.

agree with teheran.. Cain's age has caught up with him, but how can Jake Odorizzi be called overrated? 90% of sbr doens't know what team or position the guy plays.. must less be overrated.

agree strasburg sucks. That's why the nats signed Scherzer. They are going to trade or let his ass go when he's a free agent. (or at least they should).

He has no Stuff and if he does it's only once every four games which is not good for major-league baseball standards

Cole Hamels - He lets the bad defense get to him. Actually I'd be pissed too that the Phillies score about 1.7 runs per game for his starts only. Gives up a lot of home run balls too.

Stras isn't overrated he's just a great #2 guy thats all. Look at his numbers over the course of his career he's a high level #2 who will be better than most oposing #2's every 5 days but he doesn't have the mental make up of a harvey or even jose fernandez. Those are 2 #1's in his own divison that have the mental make up that stras doesn't.

I don't think he's a number two guy anymore you could make a case he's going to be close to a four or five very soon

He's ok at home...
SStrasburg is our 4th pitcher. Zimmerman is better, been struggling but is better in my opinion. Certainly Scherzer and Fister are better. Not a bad fourth option.
I live in DC and am a Nats fan bro. Just like in the playoffs last season, Nats struggling to score runs. Really hurting without Rendon. Werth, Span had no spring training, naturally going to take them some time to get their shit together. Harper is finally showing some consistency and potential, and Escobar has been a pleasant surprise. Dezi gets an error every night and Ry. Zim is off and on and a horrible defensive liability...you just don't know what you're going to get day to day. they will get it soon, I hope.

Strasburg is a big flop. That's why we signed max cause if nats are gonna pay 200 nil for a pitcher it's better off signing an dominant one like max. Nats need to let strasburg walk and resign harper.

Funny math.... if you faded Strasburg every single start since 2012, you're up just over 8 units.

Cole Hamels = Most ACTIVE overrated Starting Pitcher, IMO.
Followed closely by Odorizzi.

Don't know why anyone would back Nats today looking at all the stats available...only good thing for Stras is he is 3-2 career vs Mets, but he is awful on the road...DeGrom has been awesome at home in his young career.
Lots of value with Mets at +100!
