Uhh, that's not new details. It was known & obvious that in order for the Angels to rid themselves of this loser that they would have to pick UP the bulk of the tab. And Hamilton is not even close to half the player he was when he left, he's more like 1/10th & that's being generous.
This is no steal for the Rangers, this is a headache waiting to happen. Too bad Washington is no longer managing, they could have done a few lines together in the clubhouse during the 7th inning stretch.....just like old times!

You are right about the NFL. The Vikings could just cut AP if they wanted to - now that they have paid the guaranteed money. What a difference in the upper echelon contracts - amount of guarantees. It is amazing how much debt the Angels took on.

The guy has one of the greatest swings of all times to get back to the top level of baseball was an amazing feat regardless and you never know you might get back to the top again I think injuries have hurt him the last few years
