No not at all. I do know the lines early on are based on last year's teams and the perception that is still there.

He never suggested that he did. He suggested because the season is so early the books will not have a sharper edge on lines the first month or so of the regular season, thus finding value in plays may be easier found by the player at this time, and i completely agree with him.

We all take risks against lines that we believe are favorable. Suggesting that books haven't had the data to be as precise and sharp as possible this early on is to only suggest that there could be more value in beginning season action than there maybe over time. On particular wagers, today especially, i found some awesome lines i jumped on and laid heavy units on.
