Greg Maddux is the best pitcher of all time
    per wikipedia...

Gregory Alan "Greg" Maddux (born April 14, 1966), nicknamed "Mad Dog" and "The Professor", is a former Major League Baseball (MLB) pitcher. He is best known for playing for the Chicago Cubs and the Atlanta Braves. He was the first pitcher in major league history to win the Cy Young Award for four consecutive years (1992–1995), a feat matched only by one other pitcher (Randy Johnson). During those four seasons, Maddux had a 75–29 record with a 1.98 earned run average (ERA), while allowing less than one runner per inning.[1]
Maddux is the only pitcher in MLB history to win at least 15 games for 17 straight seasons.[2] In addition, he holds the record for most Gold Gloves with eighteen. A superb control pitcher, Maddux won more games during the 1990s than any other pitcher and is 8th on the all-time career wins list with 355. Since the start of the post-1920 live-ball era, only Warren Spahn (363) recorded more career wins than Maddux. He is one of only 10 pitchers ever to achieve both 300 wins and 3,000 strikeouts, and is the only pitcher to record over 300 wins, over 3,000 strikeouts, and fewer than 1,000 walks.[3] As of 2013 he works in the Texas Rangers' front office as the special assistant to the general manager.
On January 8, 2014, Maddux was voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility.

Only one thing missing, he did all of this in the prime years of the steriod era... all of it.

Best pitcher of all time, won't ever convince me otherwise

        no chance.

Chris Carpenter holds that title. Nobody is a better big game pitcher than Chris Carpenter.

Walter Johnson had over 500 complete games! Modern day pitchers are babied

11-14 lifetime in the post season. A great pitcher, no doubt about it. You just can't be the best ever with that post season record.

I would ride into the depths of hell with Joe Blanton at the helm.

if umpires had this computer system checking their calls back then; maddox wouldn't be shit. There were so many times that the ball would be foot outside and was called a strike. Best pitchers are koufax (u.c.) gibson and seaver.(my generation)
