        bmw im still working at target but my wage got cut from 14.50 to 10.25 because i got demoted from a manager to a managers assistant, same job just take away my title nad pay, ****ing economy.

        so i just started this other job in which im selling Rainbow Air purafiers, they pay 16.50 a hour on top of $100 commishion per unit sold, so im going to try this for a few weeks, ive appliedi nto other marketing sectors, this is by far the best product i have ever seen on the market. i made 120 bucks today in 6 hours

          Ah, They have you "creating fear" on the sales pitch. Mr and Mrs Smith there is this and that living in your home. Don't you folks wants whats best for you and your children? Selling quality of life and peace of mind. Nice.

            yes exactly but again, if you present this the way they tell you too it will sell, the product in my eyes sells itself, i cant wait to get out there, its amazing when u can actually see the product work for you, its a aromatherapy machine vaporizer and air purifier, uses water to filter out the air which traps the dirt, amd you be amazed how muddy that water is after even 5 minutes, the thing cycles at 20,000 rpm

              Yup, stick to there script its there for a reason. I have been doing in home sales presentations for about 8 years now. The 1 thing aside from any product you are selling. When you walk into a home. Find a common ground with them. Look around, are there family pics on the wall. etc. People buy from someone they like. Is he a golfer? oh really you ever shoot a hole in 1, Mr Smith?. Your in there house there kingdom (check any ego at the door) You did congratulations. He is ****ing lying to you but who ****ing cares. I had a new rep follow me to a demo, The husband was a big golfer. The rep was instructed to never speak, sit and listen. He opens his mouth right after the guy says yeah I shot a hole in 1. The newbie rep says I have to. You can see the homeowner deflate right in front of us. I built a common bond with him and his wife, and this cocksucker ruined it. We laughed later on. But he will never do that again. haha

                bmw so that gives me a question

                which this business were allowed to do as many demos a week/month as we want, there's no cap, and atleast half of it seems to be by referral, i called up about 10 people and have scheduled 8 already for the next 3 days. My worry is, wont i eventually run out of people. Even there referrals, im sure people that they refer that i dont no arnt going to want me in there house. how do you approach gaining clientel

                    Whenever I sell a client, I always put door knockers 10 houses up and 10 houses down on both sides of the street. A small flier describing your business. Now if the houses are far apart. Put them in the mailbox. Ask your owner for fliers or door knockers. I am sure he will do "home shows" Rents out a space at the local home improvement show. You get alot of appointments that way.

                        thanks for the advice the money they talk about is amazing, altho i think its bullshit til i see it, but there saying after i complete 25 sells i get a raise to 20/hr( they call a demo 2 hrs so $40 per demo), and $400 commission per unit sold( since a unit is about 2 g's its still fesible but ok)

                          My company gives me pre-set,pre-qualified leads. I am sure your boss will set up if he hasn't already a telemarketing team to hit the phones and set appointments for you. Never pitch the bitch alone. What I mean is...even if a hot ass bitch with double d's answers the door. And says no its ok, I make the decisions around here we don't need my husband. You do your hour presentation and assume the sale. Start writing it up and she says, I need to speak to my husband. But you said...blah. Your done even when he comes home. Tell her you know what I have to make a stop down the street, I will call you and wait til he gets home. Never pitch the bitch! Unless she is divorced.

                              I am in New Jersey. But I have traveled to Philly, Connecticut and New York for deals. Even in this economy people buy. This generation of buyers can't say No. They have to have the best on the block etc. I get between 6 and 8 pre-set appts. per week. I like to do 2 or 3 in a day 3 days a week. Until, there are sooo many different products you can sell. Get your feet wet make sure its something you feel is right for you. I can tell you are excited setting up all those appts. My product line sells for 18k up to 50k. Commission percentages vary for what you sell the job for given the square footage of the home. But it can be fun, lucrative, and give you free time for other things. No desk job etc.

                                yea i thought i made good money but if i can do 15 appointments a week and sell 5, that's 1k a week, i was happy with making 1800 a month at target but yea, the opportunity is there, im not sure if sales is what i want to do, im currently in school to be a network admin but in the meantime it is very good work for the time taken, i cna do 4 of these demos on sat and sunday and still work mon-friday and pull in hopfully 5 g's a month between the two, ive gone on sample demos today and yesterday with a training and its not like work at all
