recent form and Chievo has had their number in recent games. The under looks like a good play as well. In the last 6 games they have only scored 4 goals combined. Chievo has got beat up on the road. This is common sense but they have to keep possession close to 50/50. 60% of Cagliari's goals come in the 1st half compared to only 22% for Chievo. If Chievo can make it to halftime with the lead/tie I think they'll hold it down in the 2nd half. I talked myself into the under 2.5 as well.

Ok I got on these plays on Sunday when I was looking at Tuesdays action.

P30: Olympiakos -1.5 +105. 1 unit to win 1.05.

Olympiakos is a long shot to get into the knockout stage. In theory if they won 5-0 and Juventus lost 3-0 then Olympiakos would get in on tiebreakers. Malmö has been weak on the road in champions play. Olympiakos will look to bounce back off recent play in Greek league play and to avenge the loss 2-0 at Malmö.

P31: Monaco/Zenit St Petersburg draw +226. .50 unit to win 1.13.

Monaco only needs a draw at home to move into the knockout stage. Zenit will need to score and will look to push the ball. Which could have Monaco with a few counter chances. Not a lot of goals being scored in this group though. I'm seeing a 1-1 draw. I'll openly admit there is a reason this is just a .5 unit play. Definitely could see either team win 1-0, 2-0 depending on how a few things go.

Roma needs a victory to advance to the knockout stage. ManC will be without Aguero, Toure, Femandinho, and Silva. Aguero who is their leading scorer is most crucial being out for this match up. Roma is at home and they are confident. ManC will be looking for at least a draw I just don't see them fielding enough firepower to beat Roma at home. Roma 2-1 to advance.


P34: Sporting CP +.5 +130. 1 unit to win 1.30.

With nothing riding on this game Chelsea will field a much weakened starting 11. Nani will be out for Sporting who is their leading scorer. Sporting needs a draw to advance having the tie breaker against Schalke if they win. With all that being said this could be a low scoring game and goals could come at a premium. This could end in a 0-0, 1-1 draw.

Don't let Heidenheim's 1-3-3 road record fool you. 6 out of the 7 games have been played against the top half of the league. Erzgebirge is not in the top half of the league but is 3-0-4 at home. All 3 wins coming against 3 of the worst teams in the league. Both teams do score 50% of their goals in the 1st half. I look for Heidenheim to go into the half with a 1-0 lead, possibly tied at 1-1 which leads me to o2.5 as well. I look for Heidenheim to win this game 2-1, 3-1.
