Biron and the Flyers made it to the Conference finals last season but they didn't win the Cup and that's what counts in the end. This team has needed a bonified starter for years on end and it's the first thing mentioned when the team's setbacks are discussed.
Likely a moot point now that he's been signed to the 4 year extension.

If he is traded now, it would certainly be a lot more expensive, as he isn't just a rental anymore.

Pascal Leclaire to Philly maybe. Philly has a ton of forwards, Columbus has no offense. Lupul, Nitiimayki/Biron, high pick, and a good prospect.

For Leclaire? Holy moly man. Biron is a better goalie than Leclaire. This would be a huge step backwards.

I need some Canadian guys to talk hockey to.

Nicky, Buzzy, Plommer where are you guys hiding?

When hes healthy Leclaire is as solid as they come.

Just saw the Ducks put Brendan Morrison on waivers....good riddance

LeClaire is pretty good when healthy. He has upside, is relatively young, and has a good contract. Biron is mediocre, with no upside, and is a free agent at year's end.

Though Canadian i guess i must have some American blood in me as i'd also rather have Leclair then Biron. Of course it's a moot point as Pascal is done for the year from all accounts; and even if he isn't, i can't see any team laying their playoff hat on his head when he hasn't played since mid December.

yah i am a huge ducks fan as well. Morrison is just about as big of a bust as they come. The Kunitz trade I like but don't like, but in long run better for team. Unfortunately at the end of the season Pronger is out of Anaheim. Well he is out if Scotty stays on the team. And personally I would rather keep Scotty. Giggy has had a really really rough season I do not think he has gotten over his dad. He is starting to play better and Hiller will be a really good goalie. Hard to trade Conn Smythe winner though, he is proven winner and makes the big saves. Just sometimes lets in the weakest goals ever. Go Ducks. F Matt OTT
