Either one is fine, trust me Jay has alot of talent.. he can put the ball is some tight spots.. sure he can make crucial errors once in a while, but he is no ROMO trust me. Either way I think they roll... Bears looked STRONG in SNF against the steelers back in the year and knew they would again.. Marshall and Alshon and Bennett and forte are very talented... the Linebacking core of this team is shot.. once tillman and briggs comeback i think they may be the 3rd best team in NFC

Make or break game for JC if he does play. If he plays well and Bears win he probably starts the rest of the season and gets a new contract or franchise tag in offseason. Plays like shit or gets hurt (again) I expect it is his last start in Chi Town.

Tough spot for Tresman, if they lose he is going to get ripped for not having played the other guy, might as well go with your #1 QB who you pay millions of dollars to win games. Even if McCown went in and won this week would you bench Cutler into the playoffs, seems ridiculous.

i disagree, i dont think mccown is the guy...has he played well? yes very much so, but this guy is a career journeyman backup...he is like a billy volek coming in and playing real well for a short stretch, but if the bears let go cutler and make mccown their "guy" they make a huge mistake. half the reason for their success is trestman, i have to say he's been very impressive as an HC and will make any qb under him look better, but there's no question who is the better qb talent wise and its surely not mccown

Kirk Cousins had a pretty good game last season and then they went back to Griffin, naturally. I don't see what's so surprising. Backups can have good games. And then when the starter is healthy, he starts.

Flynn had a record-breaking game and then he was traded by the Packers.

Shaun Hill had a 157.9 QB rating game in place of Stafford, who came back the next game.

That's what backup QB's do. They go back to the bench when the starter is healthy.

Agreed. At this point a Healthy McCown over a possible rusty Cutler is the way to go.

McCown is the guy with hot hand and they should go with him. Personally, I hope they lose with Cutler and teach the coach and GM a lesson.

Cutler is the way to go. McCown looked good but lets not forget he faced the Cowboys and the Vikings two teams who have the worst passing defense in the league. Cutler can read blitzes and McCown would get killed by the Browns pass rush.

Cutler is do for at least a pick and a half dozen blank-faced dunce looks on he likes to show in the game, makes for good television.
