lets not kid ourselves they offer live betting because MOST don't have a clue how to win with it ...If they want me risk 50$ on insurance on 240 with my skillset i'll be laughing all the way to the bank every 7 days.To be honest I don't do this much but when I have flake teams like Miami in cold weather ....They are just the kind of team to let pitt back in the game.

That insurance is money wasted when your original play hits. And even if the insurance play hits you can count the number of times that happens and it won't outweigh the money you've spent when it doesn't.

Not to mention you can only do this when your first pick is in good shape.

if you are long term guy or percentage player this makes sense but for my style I wont miss that $50 and the peace of mind gives me the opportunity to live in games. I'm not long term guy im not percentage guy i'm daily goal guy ....my style is pretty different from ANYBODY here so I can understand if you guys think its foolish but I assure you I do fine with it.

Thanks JJ yes its to the point I rarely even bet before a game starts anymore ...Live betting and 2nd halfs are about 97% of my plays these days.

When I hedge my original bet hits. When I don't hedge the original bet seems to lose. A small hedge always seems to be the right thing. I usually bet parlays tho.

Why ask the question if you think it's right for you and your making money? A book doesn't offer lines or betting types that hurt the book. If it was bad for business they would stop it. Same as why books won't let you parlay team a minus points with team a moneyline.
