I agree with the MSU prediction. Iowa is over rated. As far at the Nebraska / Illinois game.... I told you all last week and I will tell you again..... MARTINEZ BEING OUT IS A GOOD THING. I love the guy, but he has been hurt! He hasn't played well in ONE game this season. He will not play this week. Tommy Armstrong will get the majority of the snaps. Hostile environment I wouldn't take the points if I were you. The real value is the OVER in the game! 60.5? I expect a 45-35, 45-28, 42-27 kind of game. Just my 2 cents.

Also keep in mind.... Martinez has been out for 3 weeks. Nebraska had last week off. So for 3 straight weeks Tommy Armstrong has been the #1 guy at practice. I think Nebraska wins by 14+ with the extra week to prepare for this game. Plus with their defense not being so great.... they are not looking ahead to ANY game. Also, there has been so much talk about how the Nebraska coaching staff took their foot off the pedal against UCLA, allowing UCLA back in the game (Nebraska led 21-3 at one point) and Wyoming (they led by 16 with 6 mins left) that I don't see that happening again this season. Nebraska will try to score as many points as possible in every remaining game. Again, just my 2 cents.

Iowa and Auburn are in very similiar situations for me this weekend. Both games could go either way and both teams we know little about this year as for the most part they are relatively untested therefore making a lot to be unknown.

Would wait a week for those teams.

Disappointed that Fish is endorsing this play. He was ripping Iowa like there was no tomorrow back in July. Pretty bad about-face for a guy who supposedly knows his subject matter well.

Michigan St and Iowa should be such a low scoring dog fight that will come down to a late turnover. Hard to feel confident about a side on this game.

Iowa beat a horrible I-AA team, a winless Western Michigan squad, and a Gopher program they've owned who hadn't played anyone yet. Let's not start sucking each other's dicks just yet re: the Hawks. Something tells me Fish's initial take is more accurate than his current one, which makes me wonder about him if he's already swaying in whatever direction the wind blows on the Iowa plains.

Funny how everyone on here fades Indiana but someone bet them down vs Missouri and lost. They do have 20 returning starters and a great offense. I'm an Indiana homer and we had some expectation of a minor bowl and if they lose this game they can forget that. I think the hurry up can hurt PS's lack of bodies if their D can get them off the field once in a while. They'll take advantage of a week off to iron out some problems and I think +150 is a nice value at home. I don't bet them often except for Over but I think they'll go all out here and PS has a fresh QB who might get rattled a little on the road. They were supposed to struggle w/Bowling Green and beat them 42-10.

Not a B10 team but B10 country....I like Ball State +5.5 (+195 ML) over Virginia. Pete Lembo for BS is really a good coach and their QB is very effective. Virginia can't score much. Duke put up 55 on Pitt...the Cavs got 3.

From watching Ball State....I kind of got a read on North Texas who wore down BS in Texas a few weeks ago. They were down 27-9 at half and shut BS out in the 2nd half. I cashed them easily vs Georgia the next week....they were tied 2nd half and now they've had a week off to play Tulane. They have to have confidence after playing Georgia so tough and they'll rough up Montana Jr. I think NT wins by atleast 10!!

Mizzou sees the same offense every day and it seems like Franklin has been there 7 years. I didn't think that was a good matchup for IU.

I can tell you with 99% certainty that Martinez is out for Saturday... However... be very careful as the Nebraska people I talk to all think Tommy Armstrong the RFr QB runs the offense more smoothly than Martinez... They incorporate more side to side true speed option game as well as the zone read Martinez ran.. He apparently has more ability to push the ball down the field and with those very talented WRs Nebraska has (Bell, Enunwa and Turner) they could score 40+...

So it comes down to what Illinois team will show up on offense... Nebraskas D is very vulnerable to a mobile QB like Scheelhaase...

I see this as a 45-35 type game... it will be interesting...
