#38While I technically agree, I find $ > Points > Opinion > Air. Meaning I am more inclined to put more importance to a guy backing his plays with cash.Originally posted by ttwarrior1disappointed in this thread jj, noboby on the forums' bets are anymore important over anyone else's.
Some people are new, some people gamble for fun, some people don't need the money, some are trying to build rolls.

#44No chance Corbin...minimum $70 a game. Like going large on maybe 2-3 plays a month. Bankroll management gets you nowhere unless your roll is like 10k+Originally posted by jjgoldWhy do you guys bet $5 and $10 a game??

#46JJ, do you still have that video where you are sitting with both of your parents trying to get money from them. I think across the street a hooker was getting busted or something like that?

#56FAKE! Unless you don't know how to ask for money. You always make up some BS excuse like the lighting bill, electric bill, car breaking down, gym pass, medical bills, roof repair, exterminator or some other BS excuse. You always ask for at least double the amount you need. No one in their right mind would ever give you money to pay off a gambling debt.Originally posted by jjgold
I have never asked for money to pay a bookie or to go gambling with. Only thing I have ever asked money for is education, medical bills (had insurance), and one other time that is a long story.Comment -

#61That's actually what I was thinking too. I play at the LVH when I am in Vegas (SB.eu when not) and it's pretty annoying that I cannot place my $330 - $550 halftime bet because of all the people crowding the windows betting $11 and $22. I'm certainly a bigger player than them, but also not big enough to get to the $1,000 wager window. I am not trying to be an elitest and if $11 is action to you then more power to ya. I just think the casinos should have a better system in place. When it's time to collect, I'm patient and don't mind waiting. But when I'm on the clock and have 12 minutes to get that play in, step aside gents.Originally posted by jjgoldTin Canners in Vegas clog windows for the big guys

#62Heh. That reminds me of a classic David Letterman joke: "I was walking down the Vegas strip and a guy asked me if I had any money that I could spare because his wife needed emergency surgery. I said to him 'well if I give you some money, how do I know you won't use it for gambling?' He replied 'Oh, I've already got some money set aside for gambling.'" :-DOriginally posted by DoYouNotGetITI have never asked for money to pay a bookie or to go gambling with.
