I just checked, it is next year

Only true if the Pac-12 team is Oregon or Stanford. If its say a UCLA, Washington or an Arizona team, one-loss SEC probably jumps.

ACC still has 6 undefeated team I believe and FSUs schedule only gets harder later in the season. Clemson as well as they will play FSU (who should be undefeated if they don't choke) & South Carolina.. If Clemson beats USC, UGA, & FSU please tell me how a one loss sec team jumps them? Are you an SEC homer?.. & no 4 tm playoff starts next year

Agree on the Pac 12 assuming its Stanford, Oregon or UCLA. The ACC hmmm, probably right there too. If Fl St or Clemson run the table there is no way you can keep them out over a 1 loss sec. Georgia Tech could possibly get screwed(again) IF Georgia falls apart and that last game is somehow meaningless. But even if the stars align I could see GT possibly getting passed over.

The strength of schedule is an unknown even with the SEC. If a couple of unexpected teams go on a skid within the conference it will hurt everyone in the conference.

And they might even have a chance to win with an all PAC crew working the game!

Not an SEC "homer", just acknowledging that it is easily the best conference in the country. The only ACC teams that matter are Clemson and FSU, so the fact that six teams are undefeated after three weeks doesn't really mean anything. Yes it would be quite impressive if Clemson runs the table (GA, FSU, SoCar) or FSU runs the table (Clemson, Florida), but suppose Alabama loses a game somewhere and they are the one-loss team the undefeated ACC team is up against? Would be very interesting.

Like you said its only been three weeks so let's wait a little bit longer into the season before determining who has the best conference. If anything I think it says a lot that only 3 weeks into the season only 2 of the "elite" sec teams are still unbeaten (2 of which were taken down by that horrible ACC conf: UGA & UF). I assumed you were a homer because you think Bama plays a harder schedule than Clemson, thinking they get in with one loss over an undefeated Clemson team. Ya clemson plays in the ACC but look @ bamas out of conf games. It's a joke. Really other than LSU/aTm the rest of their schedule is a walk in the park (please don't try to convince me that Ole miss is an elite team). Id argue that Clemson plays a harder SEC slate than Bama lol.

                    Oregon looks real good.

Their style of play and lazy east coast biased media allow them to run up scores and get accolades. They should be in the championship.

Here is why you are wrong. UCLA plays BOTH Stanford AND Oregon on the road. Washington plays BOTH Stanford and Oregon. Arizona State goes to Stanford this weekend and Arizona hosts Oregon later on in the year. If the winner comes from the Pac 12 South, they still must defeat the Pac 12 North Champ.

Valid point, I didn't realize there were so many decent cross-division matchups this year. But I still think it's highly unlikely any other Pac-12 team goes undefeated besides the Oregon/Stanford winner.

And besides everything that's already been said, don't put it past the BCS to find a creative way to give the SEC team preferential treatment if there is any doubt (or even if there IS doubt ). Remember that there are human votes involved in the process too. Just the nature of the beast.

Can't wait until next year. Hopefully they will have a rule where conferences can't have more than one team in the final four.

Pac 12 has 4 top 20 teams, 5 ranked teams and two in the top 5 alone. How bad do you think the division is?

Agreed there. Remember, the game is in Pasadena. If Alabama loses, it is highly unlikely that another SEC team jumps an undefeated Pac 12 team (Oregon or Stanford) and an undefeated Ohio State. Do not underestimate the power of the host city.

                                      uhh no.

I was wondering if Oregon got a national title ban like Ohio State did.

Apparently Ohio State is the only school that got the National Title ban.

Ohio state may go undefeated 10 seasons in a row and never get a chance.
