I never bet against a team that wants to prove something to it's hometown after a tragedy, sports are not important but the Red Sox will be playing with heart and emotion to show the strength of the city and people of Boston. That's a trend I've always noticed after any type of tragedy the hometown team always seems to win.

I get what you are saying and my feeling is the opposite in this case (I almost didn't bet this game because I hate to use scenarios as my argument).....if this game was in a day or two or it was in Boston I would agree.....right now the Sox are hearing about it 24 hours a day, being interviewed 5x more than normally, etc. The Indians are also underrated and are at home.....I went -1.5 because my prediction when capping this morning was 6-1 Cleveland.

The line is moving the other way....I am a little worried about this game to be honest. A lot of sharp people are on Milwaukee here......I still think Zito is the better pitcher and SF is decent on the road, and with Gallardo's DUI this morning (WTF is this all about anyway? Can these guys not get a cab??) I just think this is San Fran's game.

EDIT: Barry Zito has struggled massively at Miller Park. In 7 starts (31.2 IP), he's given up 39 hits, 33 runs (27 earned), and 7 HRs. His ERA is 7.67, WHIP 1.96, and opponents are hitting .302 against him. This is a pretty bad track record and likely the reason why most sharps won't back Zito today.
