Anyone here know how rollover works? lets say you have to rollover 70 5x. How do you go about doing that? If you bet 70 5 times on heavy favorites does that count?

in a nutshell: for each bonus u take...make sure u know if it's based on "risk" amount=always A in the "A to win B" format...or is calculated as "the smaller of A vs. B"

if the place uses the "risk" definition, you probably could NOT bet 70 five times on heavy faves (cuz there'll most likely be an "odds range" restriction in place to protect the books from just this... and your "heavy faves" won't count)...

if the place uses the "smaller number" definition...you could bet on heavy faves all you want...but you'll only be contributing the smaller second number each tym so u'll need much more than 5

rollover is the number of times the (deposit + bonus) must be wagered in total before you are allowed to withdraw free of penalty (and at some places...before you are allowed to withdraw at al)...it is thus the numerical rendering of "how much string is attached" to the bonus

to use your example, let's say you deposit $50 and take a 40% cash bonus of $ 20with a 5x rollover...
rollover is as u would expect $350=5 x (50 +20)...

as for how that ROR (RollOverRequrement) is calculated=exactly what contributes to it and what doesn't...T&C's vary, so u gotta take a few minutes to study them and live-chat/telephone communicate with a CS-rep to make sure ur 100% clear...

1. what counts (lots of variation here...u gotta dig into the details of your deal cuz what counts at one place may very likely not elsewhere, or even at the same with a different promo)...u gotta find out
WHAT bets count...WHAT bets don't (eg. Bet365...all MLB ok except ML plays/many places disallow partial games/futures...other no problem)...some places/promos allow multiples...others only staights...blabla...confusing BUT...most books happy to spend time with a customer to iron out such details...Bookmaker has one additional wrinkle here...all MLB bets count but at half the amount as for any other sport...making a promo effectively double the rollover if u got it for MLB...
SUMMARY: DEVIL IS IN THE DETAILS AS FOR WHAT COUNTS TOWARD ROLLOVER.

2. I bet 220 TO WIN 200 at -110 on first play and 100 to win 130 at +130 on the next ...HOW MUCH IS THE CONTRIBUTION TOWARD THE ROR of each...here's what u REALLY wanted to know...
*at some places it's 320 (220 + 100)...you add in the RISK amounts for each bet that counts...
*at other places it would be calculated as 300...you add in the SMALLER of the two numbers (the "risk" and the "to win" number)...so for faves it's what u risk & for dogs it's what ur aiming to win

An end to the winning, BUT I am going to take a couple of things out of today.

1. Generally when I see a day that I don't really get excited about I go about things anyway.....I decide what I like best and roll with that. Today, instead, I just bet what I really liked and didn't worry about making my normal volume of picks. I am going to continue this trend and on days like today you may start to see less bets than this...

2. I get more excited about managing the bad days than I do about having big ones.....this may be the key to being a long term winner...make sure those bad days are not devastating!

You damn right it was fixed, the line dropped all throughout the day because someone made a call to Pop and told him his percentage would be if he started to intentionally foul Howard halfway through the third quarter for no reason and basically not to play Tony Parker for the majority of the fourth quarter. Someone told me before Kobe went down that the NBA was going to make sure that the Lakers made the playoffs and judging by what I have seen I truly believe it.
