The amount needed to move a live line is often much lower than a pre-game line. Also, some books keep juice high to reduce people's chances to hedge.

Ok guys, recap for last night. Picks will be up soon....I also want to address Fitguy's comments on in-game betting, but I am at the office and then off to the golf course, so that may come later tonight.

So, we cruised into the 5 figure profits for 60 days.....at some point we will start to increase our average wagers here to take advantage of the run, but we are going to do it cautiously. Thanks for all the kind words and I hope the 9-0-2 for last night (not including am tennis) helped a ton of people out.

One last thing....I want to make this very clear.....I bet almost every game where I see a clear edge. I average 15 wagers per day, so:

If I do not have it listed as a wager, I am listing it as a NO PLAY. A lot of people have been coming on and asking about the Knicks game, or the Mets game.....believe me, if I saw an edge I would be making the play. Now, if you see an edge and want to let me know then feel free! I will help you evaluate it in an unbiased way, and hell if I like it I may even tail you!!

If it wasn't for that big fight last night on the Padres game, that took our pitcher out of the game, I'm thinking that push would have been a win.

Just curious if you watch every game you bet on? At first, I felt you must have no life. Retired, living alone, and having lots of time to look over stats and watch tons of games (even pictured you possible living in an igloo). However, you have now revealed that you work, have a GF, Travel, etc etc. Just wondering how you have time to cap it all.

Looking forward to today's picks. Much appreciated.

I do not watch every game that I wager but I do see all trends, etc. I do watch as many important games as possible and definitely wager more heavily on games that I know more about.

Thanks for the plays D2D. I tailed each pick but put a little more on my Rangers than you, disnt habe time to look atthe games myself. Quick question, I use 5dimes also but my reduced juice is limited to $50. How did you get a $100 limit? I'm curious because I use reduced whenever available as it saves around 5% in the long run. Pretty big deal, and betting $100 a game with a higher reduced limit could save me more. Thanks in advance.

Ok folks...another nice day, nothing spectacular, but solid. POD was nice and easy (it got as low as o/u 6.5 on Pinny where I rehit it but didn't post), and we had a couple of last minute wins and a couple of last minute losses.

We were sharpest in the NBA tonight, going 7-1, but hockey and MLB weren't quite as good.

I just don't think they are a good bet or a good fade.
Dickey is looking like bust of the season & Shields gave up 10 hits in his last win.
