I don't understand.....the Clippers WANT this game, but they are running the court and shooting 4 seconds into each possession and now Sacramento, only down 2 point are fouling off the ball with 3 minutes to go. We are going to see a 4th Q where they score 65+ to kill us....in the third I was thinking we had it no sweat.
Also, Sac-town was up pretty big but looks like they may not cover.....rough game if we miss on both.Comment -

So, I guess this is the 'variance' that everyone talks about....we have had a load of heartbreaking losses over the past few days, but no comeback wins!! We hit another POD, but we lost 5 games that were soooo close! Again, I am going to try and stress that I am not too upset, at least we didn't lose anything. An hour into all the games tonight I thought it was going to be another $1000++ night.....oh well, lets do it tomorrow!

Well, I have to say that right now I am feeling COMPLETELY ripped off.
I am not sure if anyone else was watching the Gasquet/Cilic match, but after a 1st set where Gasquet won 7-5 and 4-4 in the 2nd set, Cilic had two break points (15-40). If he had broken there we would have won the match....he didn't, which is no big deal because ALL we needed was for him to hold serve to get it to 5-5......and he didn't. I am not sure how a guy with a stranglehold on a set goes from that point to OUT of the tournament in 4 minutes, but it happened and we lost by .5 of a game........so many weird, close calls lately.....turning our winning days into break even days....this one hurt.Comment -

OK, what is going on today? Lol.
Nieminen serving for the first set at 5-3 over Del Potro gives up the break (we have Nieminen +5 and that basically gives us the win there).
Djokovic serving up a break at 3-1, all he needs is ONE game to give us the win and HE gives up the break to Monaco.
We are still in both matches, but that is 3 times today we have given up a gross brek of serve when we needed it most.
Edit: Ok, the Jdoker gets to 4 games meaning that we have that one in the bag....gets us back to 2-2 after those first rough losses earlier today.
Edit: Alright, Nieminen breaks back winning the 1st set 6-4.....so now we have Nieminen +7, so as long as he doesn't get SMOKED in sets 2 and 3 we should survive......let's see what happens!

Early thoughts are that I like the + Money on Tsonga. Tsonga is looking better and better on clay, isn't showing the same jitters he used to have and has cut down on his errors. After last June when Tsonga won on clay against Wawrinka I think I would favour him here....
I also like that Wawrinka will be coming off of an emotional high of beating Murray, and I see a lot of let-downs in this same scenario (although Wawrinka is more stable in these situations than most).
In the end, it may be a flip of a coin.....but hard to go wrong here at +105 on Tsonga....Comment -

Ok, we booked the win with Nieminen getting it to 2-2 in the 3rd set. A recap for the morning:
Berdych vs Fognini - Loss - Berdych a BIG favourite here, in a spot where we needed OVER 20, got killed. I knew that Fognini would give him more trouble than was expected and even thought he had a chance to win, but there is not way I thought he could do it in under 20 games. A real surprise and kind of a stinky loss.
Tsonga vs Melzer - Win - We needed under 21.5 games and Tsonga got it done in 15 games. No surprises here and we crushed this one.
Djokovic vs Monaco - Win - We had it over 19.5 and this went to 3 sets and 26 games. Never really in doubt once Monaco got off to that great start.
Cilic vs Gasquet - Loss - Like I said above, a crazy bad loss. Cilic had 2 break points for us to win this match....not only did he not get one of them, he then went on and gave up his serve as well.....and we book a .5 loss. If you look at where it was at 4-4 in the 2nd set I bet our odds to win were 19/20. This one hurt like HECK!!
Nieminen vs Del Potro - On serve in the 3rd set and already we have booked the win here. Nieminen has every chance to win here and we got him at +5 games.....and frankly I should have made this a larger play.
Recap: We CRUSHED our 3 wins and both losses were crazy close.....I think we were on the right side of all 5 and even though we didn`t kill it at 3-2 at least we started the day out on a good note.

Thanks for that....I hope you were part of the $8 profits yesterday......Thanks D2D. I really appreciate the insight and feedback. I was just curious. Certainly not challenging your methods. You really can't argue with stats. It just hadn't been making sense as of late and is why I asked. Tonight for example, I took the Pens at -1.5 +210. We both won but obviously my pay out was larger. That said, I understand how time if will balance out and even go 30% in the favor of the books. Very interesting.

Thanks.....the Giants are a scrappy type of team and they are going to HATE going down 2-0 in a 3 game series....and with Cain dealing and Gallardo on the mound, who was in the news this week with his DUI I think this is as good a spot as they come....my only worry is that Gallardo comes out pitching out of his mind because of what happened...certain people react to adversity better than others.
I am adding my first NBA playoff game right now.....the Heat just came out -11.5 against the Bucks.....I wanted to bet this early because my guess is this will end up at -14 or -14.5. I know I am on the public side here, BUT the Bucks showed nothing down the stretch, they are hurting and Miami is going to go off on them. I am surprised the line is so low as the books MUST know this is a public kind of line....

Not one to usually like the run in 1st inning bet, but with Ogando whos ranked 10th in the league in WHIP and 3rd in ERA, and lights out Villanueva whos ranked 3rd in ERA in the national league with a stellar .86 WHIP on the bump. All factored in with winds blowing in on a cold afternoon, you cant help but like the + odds... Just food for thought..
