OK, not a great 1st Quarter for our POD (compared to most 1st Q's where they score a bunch), BUT the Clips are playing all their starters and it is obvious that they want this game.

As for Portland, we will need Lillard to start heating up and start distributing to guys that can score. 2 points in the first Q is not going to be enough to get us to the promised land.

Honestly, I think we need to reavaluate this game at the half....I don't like doing it with a POD, but this 2nd Quarter should tell us everything we need to know.

I know it. I got a 2 team parlay with them and Jets (which won in SO). Plus got Kings in single action here.

Lets tune in and root these Kings on. They really need to find a way to come back and win.

I absolutely have NO idea why the Mets just pitched to Cuddyer. You have a good reliever in, first base is open....I get the old 'you never put the winning run on' thing, but come on....Cuddyer is hitting .375 or you can set up the force out at all bases and face Pacheco.

I understand this is the old school way to do this, but this is going to cost the Mets this game.....how sad.

No worries, like O said there wasn't a play there or I would have made it. Unfortunately the way it went we could have bet the over 190 and crossed our fingers we break even, BUT the way the first half went I wasn't comfortable either playing it or recommending it.

If Kings win I know I sure got a profit. If they do lose, and if the total on the basketball game don't go high enough, it would be about a break even day, which isn't bad either.

So its all good. I do hope Kings pull it out for me.

Everyone seems to be doing better than me on my own picks, lol. I am up $8.50 right now (counting the Clips game as a loss as no way they score 65 in the 4th and OT not possible). Kings are tied, Mets are tied, A's arent going to go over 7.5....imo I am headed for a small losing night....which happens.

That's rough. I should have been more specific about why I wasn't playing the 2nd half over.

Frankly, the spread in the game was too big and Portland was playing WAY too horribly. I wanted to play the under, BUT, I make it a habit of NEVER betting the opposite way when I could middle myself, no matter how sure I am. It is easier to just watch your money circle the drain than to put yourself in that situation.

Thanks D2D but you didn't influence my play there either way. I saw the clippers in the first half to be a little off and felt they were going to come out in the 2nd and give the fans a show for their last home game. Portland could only go up from 13 which they score in the 2nd quarter. Oh well. I was wrong. tomorrow is a new day.
