There's a thing called 'culture'. Usually when you move to a different country/continent you're expected to make allowances for that location's particular culture, and whilst being able to practice your own, not enforce it on others. Regardless of that, if it's offending people, and he knows it, why the hell doesn't he just stop doing it instead of whining that 'it's ok to say in South America'. You'd be outraged if Muslims from a country practicing Shariah law emigrated to yours and started enforcing it, just because it was done in their place of origin.

Actually, you're right, when in Rome... But Messi and Suarez may have been innocent to it, Messi might have used it for psychological reasons. Both have black team mates, they are not actually racist.
