So earlier I typo'd (missed a period) and bet 10x as much as I wanted to on a game. I quickly went and bet the same on the opposite side to hedge my bet and eat the juice. Now, I don't bet all that much, so this really isn't a huge deal for me, but it got me thinking.
I understand typo'ing the bet is my fault and stuff, but should players get a refund in a case where they obviously bet the wrong amount and the line hasn't moved yet (or if they hedged it immediately after?). I know this would be hard to regulate, but the books, afterall, get to correct their lines when THEY typo, and they cancel any bets made on bad lines. Wouldn't it be fair for this system to go both ways, assuming the line hadn't moved?
