On a pass-heavy team, this isn't necessarily a huge advantage, but on a team that's built around dominating at the LOS and a power running game, the Niners have a bigger playbook on a wide variety of down & distance that force the opposing defense to account for CK on the ground. That doesn't make him a gimmick QB though, as he still has a strong, accurate arm and a very good set of receivers to work with. It just adds another dimension to defend.
I don't agree that it takes a guy named Brady/Manning/Rothlisberger/Rodgers to win the Superbowl.
