Romney is as needy for teleprompters as Barry.

Dude using note cards for the debate, which is clearly against the rules.

GOP, simply admit that Romney is a terrible candidate, and if you had a chance to do over - he would be no where near this election at this point.

Dems are stuck with Obama, and they have a better candidate waiting in the wings.

If Sports Betting is your occupation and you live in the US then Vegas is really the only place that offers security and peace of mind for your funds. Of course, if this is just a hobby for you, then I can see why you might say that.

Gingrich would have been by far better,if Rick Perry wasn't a dumbass him to. Don't worry if Romney losses we will still control the house and we got Christie in 16 he would be the ultimate lock

After witnessing this election unfold, nothing is a lock for republicans in 2016.

Going to very hard to keep the Clintons out of the White House.

Financial conditions in this country would change overnight because a) taxmageddon would be averted, b) the current tax rates would be extended, and c) a formal budget would be put forward and the budget reconciliation nonsense would be at an end.
And you mean to say this'll be accomplished overnight? Let me know a) when was the last budget passed. and b) how long did it take (this is vague but give or take)

I think it's higher then that. Its 70% isn't it? It's really unbalanced but it gets you elected to say you'll make them mean old rich people pay more. Even though it will have absolutely no effect on your quality of life if your poor.

I have a degree in economics and I can assure you that to solve this deficit you will have to raise taxes on somebody. You can't cut enough to over come the deficit. It is not possible.
Not possible? Where did you get your degree? (I'm not talking shit, I'm just curious)

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's a certainty, but it's definitely possible.

                                                As for Romney's "plan"....

When threatening cuts, AND TRYING TO WIN AN ELECTION, you have to be vague. That's just the way it is. It's a poker game he's got to play if he actually wants to get shit done once he gets in office.

Obama can talk specifics all he wants without having to worry about shit. A) He's the incumbent, so he still has some benefit of the doubt cred with the voters, (especially in the swing states) B) As a Democrat he's pushing to expand programs and spending for individuals already using it who don't give a shit about how it effects the economy as a whole, and C) even if his numbers don't add up or his policies are unsound it ain't a serious problem for him anyway because the general public doesn't have the education to question it and the media isn't going to call him out for it. Except maybe the right-wing guys, and if they started harping on it then that just motivates the MSM/Hollywood/TV networks even harder to paint the GOP as "obstructionist capitalist whores."

It's win-win for Obama. He can't go wrong with being specific. Romney doesn't have that luxury. For one, any specifics Romney suggests now are no more valid that a fantasy football mock draft. No matter how intricate or specific his "plan" is, it's nothing more than a projection of what he'd like to do. It has nothing to do with what congress will actually allow. And that's where the poker game comes in.

Passing legislation these days is all about negotiation tactics. It's all about power and leverage and exacting hesitant compromise. But because Romney's not yet in office he doesn't have any bargaining power. He can't open low or high because either way it penetrates him. If he aims higher with a plan that gives him the position to extract a better counter-offer from the left then he can't get elected. If he represents too weak a hand then the Dems won't feel obligated to put anything meaningful in the pot. And if he tells the Dems straight up what he's going to do he just immediately loses the ability to do it, as getting elected is pointless if the opposition has already made your hand. That's just politics.

Either you trust Romney has America's best interests at heart, or you trust Obama does. It's that simple. Always has been, always will be. The majority of people who demand to hear a more detailed plan usually fall into two general camps: those who have a generalized dislike for the guy and just want greater specificity with which to bash him, and those who are too dumb to understand what those more specific details would actually mean. And that being the case, there's no motivation for him to be more specific, because it only stands to hurt him. And yeah, that's kind of shitty for the informed electorate who'd actually like to be given a clear and delineated choice between the two candidates, but that's America hoss. It's the price you pay for the freedom of living in a country where the dumbasses' votes count the same as the rest.
No more of that talk, or I'll put the leeches on you.
