It happened before. You will play Jets money line (I think Jets will favor) and Miami spread.

if you are playing the season martingale style, then yes. for the purposes of this thread, i am running an aggressive labby. you can choose to wager/play whichever style you see fit. last year i played it martingale, this year i am playing labby.

I do believe all the JM Invincible plays did win last year. There were a few that went to (C) bets and didn't look good but they did win.

On the Philly and Jack games you might as well wait because you are supposed to bet them money line anyway. So the pointspread shouldn't be an issue just maybe a little difference in the juice.

for the plays, i would just track the money lines whenever your book makes them available. the lines are pretty short, and since we are playing this week for 1.5 units it makes sense to get the best line possible.

i will be running the labby based on these lines:

jets +9 (-110)
jacksonville -133 (5dimes)
philly -138 (5dimes)

these numbers are posted at 5dimes.com as of 10.15a PST 10/5/2011. i would try to get as close to these numbers as possible.

Is MIA still a play even though their starting QB is out for the season? I know that JM had a clause in his NBA system saying if a player that is the top scorer on that team does not play the series gets voided. Any ideas?

JM will undoubtedly play this and count it as a 'win' if it wins, but will not count it if it loses. we need some discussion on here. how do you guys want to play it? yes, the line will factor in henne being out, but henne was playing like straight garbo with horrible red zone efficiency. what should we do ladies and gents?

I believe we had this same discussion last year and pretty much agreed that the point spread is adjusted for injuries. If MIA was starting a rookie I would lay off but Moore is not that bad of a QB and they have a bye week to get him prepared so I actually like their chances. Their coach is on the "hot seat" and I feel the team will be motivated. Let's see what the spread is next week. GL all tomorrow.

It's all about timing with these things. I jumped on Philly early in the week and got them at -130 on the ML. I held off on Jac and they are now +1 ATS and Even on the ML. I'll wait to see what happens tomorrow before I make my bet.

As far as the Miami play I will stick with it. People over react to stuff like this. Look at the NBA. Every time a "key" player is out the public goes nuts betting against them. Yet every time we win on the other side. I expect the same with Miami. The books and lines makers know how to work the general public and people will continue to bet against Miami. Losing Henne was probably the best things that happened to that team this year IMO. But on3 you called it exactly as it will go down with JM. He takes credit for all wins and but will deflect if it bombs. That's why I don't pay attention to anything the guy says.

He said in reality there are only 15 -20 plays a year and you would be betting -110 as long as your team was the underdog otherwise you would have to bet money line. This is the part about JM that makes me hate him. He deceives to make you think he's got something way greater than it actually is. Just hang here and if he really does come up with something new we'll post it.
