#356Congrats both to the Bombers and their backers! I´m glad they won if this victory goes to the memory of their passed-away coachFor BC, that´s one hell of a nightmare start to the season.

Head to Head – 1-1 - 2010 (W14@BC) BC 16-14, (W15@BC) Win 47-35
As mentioned in the past number of weeks, I don’t believe its yet time to really think much of BC until they turn it around… Of course, the line moving from -4, to -3 in the last short while says that a lot of people think Winnipeg is DUE for a letdown, or BC DUE for an offensive eruption… with a total of 52, I’m not thinking EITHER of those things are going to happen. I believe this will be the same gross, sloppy game that Winnipeg is accustomed to playing…
Of course anything can (And usually does) happen, but I’m going to tread a little harder on a slow pace then really being convinced EITHER of these teams are going to run away with it… But clearly, Winnipeg has shown the better team in the first 4 games, with reasonable consideration to cover here…
1x Winnipeg -3
3x BC/Win Under 52
Also personally completes a 3 team Parlay
Tor -168

#364BB,
I like the Montreal/Hamilton over 1H of 26.5 and over for the game at 53. Both offenses should be able to put up some good numbers. Calvillo is back and should be ready to play, and I like Chris Williams for Hamilton. What do you think.Comment -

Montreal -3.5 @ Hamilton O/U 53.5
Montreal 2011 Past Results (Most Recent First)
Sask 27@Mon 24 U53.5
Tor 17@Mon 40 – O53.5
Mon 39@Sask 25 – O53.5
BC 26@Mon 30 – O53.5
Hamilton 2011 Past Results (Most Recent First)
Ham 39@BC 31 – O53.5
Sask 3@Ham 33 – U53.5
Ham 10@Edm 28 – U53.5
Win 24@Ham 16 – U53.5
Head to Head 2010 – Montreal 2-1 (W4@Mon) Mon 37-14, (W11@Ham) Mon 27-6, (W17@Ham) Ham 40-3
Of course it seems obvious right? Montreal is the 2 time defending champs, with the Best QB in the past decade, back off an injury in which his team stunk the joint out against the worst team in the league… at home…. Clearly Montreal by 40 right? Yet they’re only giving us 3.5 points to work with, 3 in some places already. One of the clear themes I like to write about is how generous the oddsmakers are when they make these lines. Clearly they are “handing” us Montreal to win with such a small line.
Yet I’m all about Hamilton at the moment… They have made me enough money these past two weeks to buy a small island villa off of the Arctic Ocean of Canada, inhabited primarily by Polar bears. Nevertheless, I will continue my recent surge on the TiCats by betting them AGAIN tonight. It’s not that I don’t think Montreal is nothing short of incredible, but a few interesting Points for Hamilton
- Mon QB Calvillo, looked absolutely AVERAGE, even before he left the game last week. I’m not saying he’s not amazing, but going into Hamilton, even with your best game, is difficult at the best of times. Last game he played there last year was the game he had back to back first and goals in the 1st quarter, and somehow, Montreal came out with ZERO points…
- Cats have circled this game for a while now… All the talk about how good they are pretty much will end for some time if they can’t play the best teams competitive. Pretty much the first “MUST WIN” of the season.
- Cats RB Colbourne is a walking psych project. Calling out his former team in his tweets, playing with their heads. It’s either going to make him play like a beast, or his former team is going to make him regret there is such thing as an internet.
- Where on earth did WR Chris Williams come from (Fort Worth, Tx actually)? At 5’9 he’s the leading Receiver for the Cats, and last week Vs BC put up 189 Yards.. He didn’t even play the Cats first game….
I am going back to my original statement of a few weeks ago about Ivor Wynn, where offenses go to die… I’m going to say that dump of a stadium is going to hold Montreal as the 13th man on Defense (Sorry Saskatchewan) and we’re going to see Hamilton really hold them Al’s in their place…

#371Great write-up as usual, and fun to read too!As much as I love playing homedogs any time possible, I really feel like taking a fav after some time or not touching the sides in this game at all. But I agree on the under and will tail you! Best of luck tonight!

Head to Head 2010 1-1, (W6@Edm) Tor 29-28, (W13@Halifax) Edm 24-6,
The Big news here for most people is that QB Dalton Bell will start for the Argos… The Big news here for me, is that I will actually be Betting the ESKIMOS with some mustard tonight.
Take caution of course when you realize that I have been avoiding betting the Eskimos all year for the most part, and they keep winning… While I keep Betting the wrong end of the Argos, whatever side I’m on.
Tonight is a game that I’m going to believe the hype, and believe that the Eskimos are going to take advantage of a weak Toronto Offense even weaker then normal, on the road, in nice weather (finally) against a team that wants to go 5-0 to start the season for the first time since the 80’s.
Can’t remember the last time the Esks were favorites by more then a TD, and more importantly, BETTABLE with that type of line… Toronto has shown little to no improvement since the start of the season, and last week blew a good looking lead at home to Winnipeg, who isn’t exactly the model of Offense Prowess.
I can’t say enough about how I love the Eskimo Offense this year, as opposed to say, the last decade since Y2K .. O Coordinator Marcus Crandell has been nothing but pushing the envelope with the veteran QB Ray, and there is some sort of newly found confidence that he will just magically find his goto receiver in Fred Stamps… if not on this drive, then the next… and it doesn’t seem ANYONE to this point has the answer to stopping him.
Last year Tor Backup QB Bell looked decent enough to even make a push for the starting job even when Lemon was hurt.. But we all know that Lemon-ade trucks left town a long, long time ago.. (How many more Lemon Jokes, no really?) Eskimo Defense will stall MANY Toronto Drives, and the big difference will be in the battle of field position, which I believe the Esks will win consistently throughout the day.
I believe this is a double digit romp that will get the Eskimos to their best start in nearly 30 years, since the days Warren Moon wasn’t yet on the NFL radar.
I believe the Esks score 30 tonight, but I’m reluctant to bet the over, because I’m not convinced that Toronto will score 20. So I’ll be laying low on the total, I don’t think there is much there to work with.

#378I´d love to bet the Esks, but the spread seems too high for my taste and there´s no way I´m taking any team on - 400 ml. The only ml I´d take in this game is Argos´. So, I guess this game will be ideal for live betting. GL everyone!Comment -
