where you getting Calgary +3.5? 2 of my books have it Calgary +2 and 1 has it Calgary +2.5

I like Calgary to win this game though. Edmonton started the season winning 5 straight and have cooled off since while Calgary has won their last 3 games since changing their starting quarterback to Drew Tate. 2 of those 3 wins came against Montreal and Winnipeg. Calgary is comfortable playing on the road and besides it's just a 3 hour drive up north to Edmonton.

Those were just me guessing some early lines... figured they would give the Esks the FG... now they they aren't, I'm of course enticed... Tate on the Road in his first playoff game... it's one thing to start the last 3 when you know you are making the playoffs... now all or nothing on the road, I think maybe a different story... Lots of 'us vs the world" talk from Esks coach Reed which I like... def leaning on my homer Esks...

In the other game, someone has to convince me that after losing to the worst 2 teams in the league badly, dropping to 7-9, and not looking good for a month, that Hamilton.. will walk into Montreal, after they were embarrassed, and figure it out...

It's the CFL of course.. but leaning huge MOntreal here..

I"m telling you it's extremely tough to beat a team 3x in a row like they will have to do if they play Edmonton...

If they play Calgary, it would be vs the hottest team in the league (next to them) ...

I can't see Drew Tate as a rook going the distance in his 4th, 5th, and 6th career starts...

I CAN however see, if it's Edmonton, finding a way on the "Third times a charm" program...

+650 is a decent price in my opinion...

I won't touch Montreal or Hamilton with a 10 foot pole... Hamilton at 21:1 a 100 foot pole...

I really don't Think Winnipeg is that good against Western teams... never mind the dome...

My opinion is to take BC at even money hosting 2 home games if you like chalk... and Edmonton +650 if you want a value dog...

I see it at 51.5 and the team totals are 24.5 Calgary and 27 right on for Edmonton. Any thoughts as to which way seems the logical bet based on those numbers?

I have a hard time believing this will be a shootout type game... weather will not be terrible, but not great.. and I think the whole thing for me is that the Esks hold Tate... if they do that, I think they keep the game lower scoring...

I just think that it's a nice bet considering a rook QB, as good as he is, on the road, in the cold... against a fired up Edmonton team that takes this game a little more personal than most... Coach saying all the right things about how "they should be the underdog" etc... plays perfect...

Dropped to 1.5 in most places, just short of a pick... don't see it going to 1...

Montreal game is all about Calvillo bouncing back... Hamilton may dupe us all looking like they are the shits the past month... but can you really just turn it on... IN Montreal at the drop of a dime... you might? Hamiton used to me my dog to win it all... and THEY were the suckers vs Toronto last year... I just don't like the coaching strategy, nor what he's got to work with at this particular time and place...

I think the difference in the West final will come down to turnovers and the Lions will force Ray into some mistakes. I think the BC defense will cause a lot of problems for the Eskies, not to mention the noise factor in the stadium as well. I like the Lions to advance to the Grey Cup the following Sunday.

Clearly I wouldn't be surprised, but I'm anchoring this game on the fact that it's hard to beat a team 3 straight times and because of this the line is inflated to what shouldn't be more than 3-4... With that said, if BC CAN beat the Esks 3x times... That's a hel of an accomplishment, particularly with the pressure that is one them to do so...

but I"m still saying Esks cover... and hoping to get 6.5 at some point on Pinny... I think this is a down to the wire game and could come down to McCallum...

I think Pinny is Savvy, with CFL savvy bettors... I think if they want Esk money, they will go to 6.5, but I think they want BC Cash right now... you know.. So that they can giftwrap their bets back for Christmas...
