Dex, may i ask why so confident on the Pack? Atlanta are excellent at home and the Pack practically folded second half against a very poor Eagles team.
If Atlanta get at GB, i think a scorefest will ensue that GB will lose out on without the running dimension that could be seen as a one off against the Eagles.

its the GB defense which has me so confident in this play. this is a shut down defense that has been doing it all year. i dont look at the eagles as a "very poor" team. that was one of the best offenses in the league, GBo handled them at home.
i also dont see that rushing performance by starks as a one off....i watched him a few times at buffalo and was impressed. with how well gb passes the ball, starks should again find some nice running lanes this week.
i will continue to bet the packers all through the playoffs if they continue on...Comment -

Ravens (19) @ Steelers (14)
These 2 teams know each other very well, and this should be a smashmouth type of game in frigid conditions. The Ravens were my preseason pick to win the AFC, and I'm back on board after foolishly fading them last week. Pitt yielded 15ppg this year, and Balt 17ppg. Both games this year yielded 23 and 31 points. i truly feel there is a lot of value on this under as i had my projected total at 35. What sold me on the side at +3.5 is the recent meetings between these 2 teams. The last 4 games have all been decided by 3 pts. Thats amazing over a 4 game span. Pitt has a shut down run defense, but ray rice on screens is going to get the yards needed for baltimore to move the chains. To play this game for a nickel, i obviously feel the ravens are going to win the game outright. But getting that extra hook on the FG made me bump it up 2 more units.

Packers (20) @ Falcons (17)
Like the Ravens, the Packers were my preseason pick to not only win the NFC, but the Superbowl. Huge mistake playing the Eagles last week, and I usually stand by my losing picks after the fact. That was the wrong play, as GB is the most lethal 6 seed the NFL has seen in years. An absolutely filthy defense that gives up just 15ppg is why i am so high on them this week (and the rest of the playoffs if they move on). Atlanta also has a very underrated defense giving up just 18ppg. I will take another under here with a high total for the playoffs at 45.5 (total has dropped to 43). Good defenses shut down good offenses, and that was the case on 11/28 with 37 pts scored in atl between these 2 teams. I watched Starks several times when in college at Buffalo, and he is a legit talent. He was in the doghouse for poor work ethic as a rookie, but McCarthy realizes its time to get his best on the field. With one of the best QB's in the league (Rodgers) and now having a running game - i just dont see the falcons defending the home field advantage they earned. It looks like this line may hit 3 which i am not crazy about - however if it looks like it will close under 3 at Pinnacle and Greek, i may add more. Fading the public here with 60% on the Falcons (line doing what it should).

Seahawks (6) @ Bears (30)
When the Seahawks announce their home lineup, the 12th man gets announced and rightfully so. Thats a crazy set of fans that have propelled the hawks to 2 underdog wins. Now they land in Chicago versus the rested Bears and i just think the Hawks are up against it now on the road. Not going to bore you with stats as the Hawks are clearly not a good team on paper. The public has bought into the Cinderella Seahawks at 65% - yet the line has yet to come down off the key number of 10. If you think the Hawks can cover, you're better off taking the ML. When the Seahawks lose, they get buried. Their losses this year have been by 17, 17, 30, 34, 15, 18, 19, 16, and 23.

Back to business..lol. Another thing, greek is hanging that +10 -115 like alot of other books do of course but I pay attention to greek primarily..last season they did the same with cards +7 -115. Basically, the books feel good about the number and just want to tax the unsuspecting bettors the extra juice to offset the larger bets coming in on Chi.Comment -

The only bet I can't roll with right now if the Pack. I love these cheese eating bastards, but man, lines down to 1 for me. I like the under, but have to lay off just that one and I also am taking the over in the Jets game. I have it at 44, and its supposed to be sunny 30, 14 mph wind and no snow in Boston tomorrow.
