there were a ton of things this guy said all week that were anything but accurate and now he proving what a low class bum he is by gloating and acting like indy was such a easy pick the gm could have went either way and to act like you brilliantly capped something in this 1 is pathetic. im saying all this and i won my only wager on this gm jax +.5 and over 2nd half. all the non-sense this guy spewed all week giving ignorant reasons like such things as "all the public money jax" yea that pretty much told me he didnt know jack. so congrats you and 80% of america that loves chalk and just so happened to pull 1 out last night of coarse every1 on indy probly took orl and phx in nba(how that work for you) so mabey you should go back and look at everything he said the only thing i see that turned out right was the gm and it clearly wasnt the "lock" he claimed it to be. oh congrats sheep who won its nice for you all but try mabey being a little more humble about it as if you watched this gm you no it was far from the lock you claimed it to be.
I love, love, LOVE this play #9 Thursday

#142First, people should not talk about "squares" because 99% of the people in here are squares. You have no idea of how the sharps actually operate. You go off on your little tangeants about who is wagering on what team. You think you know the percentages. You think you know a trap game when you see one. The fact is, you squares spend so much time looking at things that you have no business looking at, that you forget about the basics of the game. My syndicate wagers more on one game than you aquares wager dirung a week added up. You nickle players really should grow up and stop talking about squares and sharpes. Now the people in here who posted about the players and did not worry about that the sharpes were doing were the people who covered in this game. I stated in another post by another genius who thought that this game was easy pickings, that Manning would be the difference in the game and he was. I have also stated time and time again to never wager against a streak. Indy was 4-0 ATS in their 4 previous games. Obviously we know that Indy is undefeated. So for all of you alleged "sharps" that tried to read way too much into the game, and forgot to 'cap the game for the right reasons, you lost. You wagered against a streak and lost. You broke a cardinal rule of gaming and paid the price. Now I can't wait until next week when you anti-Indy "sharps" come out of the woodwork and talk to us about how the mighty Jets will cover. At least, drop the pretense of being a sharp. Try concentrating on the game, and not what other people are doing. No one ever said that the "sharps" win every game. Here is a litle hint. The amount of money that you wager does NOT make you a sharp. Live and learn people.Comment -

#146If you’re brand new to sports betting, you might not be familiar with some of the terms and phrases that get thrown around in this industry. These words have specialized meanings, and there are no two words more meaningful to handicappers than sharps and squares.
On the surface, the difference between the two groups is obvious. A sharp bettor makes smarter decisions than the squares who populate the casual betting public. It’s easy to tell which bettors fall into which category. The sharps are the ones making money over the long term. It takes a lot of luck for squares to reach the magic 52.4-percent success rate needed to break even on standard –110 bets. Luck is invariably short-term.
What isn’t quite as obvious is the relationship between sharps and squares. The sharp handicappers win the money that the square bettors lose, with the bookmaker taking its 10 percent “juice” or “vigorish” as a transaction fee. To take advantage of this relationship, a sharp doesn’t focus only on sports, but also pays attention to the betting habits of squares.
If it sounds a bit predatory, that’s because it is. Sharps will lie in wait as the squares gather around matchups involving public teams with national television exposure, like the Boston Red Sox or the Los Angeles Lakers. Squares will place bets on these teams for a number of irrational reasons. Being a fan is a common reason. Civic pride is another. These are not good reasons for risking money for any purpose other than entertainment.
A sharp player looks at a square as a negative role model. Whatever the casual bettor is doing, the sharp will be inclined do the opposite: betting against the public teams and supporting undervalued “small market” clubs with less of a media footprint. That includes teams on the West Coast (especially those north of Los Angeles) who usually don’t start their games until 10:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
By adopting the ways of the sharp, even a novice bettor can get a leg up on the square competition. Yet it isn’t as simple as flipping an on/off switch. The sharpest handicappers are the ones who have access to the best information, know what to do with it, and spend the most time on their craft. Everyone has limitations in all three of these categories. Meanwhile, thanks to the spread of the Internet, the betting public as a whole is getting sharper every day. It’s up to you to stay ahead of the curve.
I found this on the net. Figured it would help with sharp square argument. GLComment -

And yes it was the "Lock" I claimed it to be, Did they Cover the Spread?? It don't matter whether it was by 1 Point or 35 Points, it my friend was a "Winner"!!!!!Some advise for ya, Two words, "Grow Up"!!
