ok guys, i apologize for the first losing week we have had this year...
Even with a win on monday night we will still have lost money. I will not change the unit size of this pick just so we can continue our winning streak. All that counts is the units we are up, and trust me, being up 70+ units at this time of the year is unbelievable. the losses we have had today will be disected on what failed. If there was such a thing as a fixed game, we saw several today, we could write a book about it.
but starting monday we are focused on next weeks picks, because pissing and moaning about the past will not win you money in this economy, we just need to win the picks next week.Comment -
G-Men looked like crap. Surprising effort coming off that embarrassing loss to NO. They seemed to have a real lack of focus on offense. Defense could not defend the middle of the field either.
The NO/Mia game was just too weird for words. One of the worst beats I can remember in a long time. I really, really liked that pick and I am still in shock on how it ended. That loss may send the Dolphins into a deep dark depression of which they may not recover from this year. It will be interesting to see how they react to absolutely blowing it at home. They travel to NYJ next week and I can only think that the Public will be all over the Jets. Line has opened at 4 and already moved to 3.5. My gut says take the Jets but it seems to easy. Has this team not proven they can beat good teams? peyton will rip apart this 21st ranked passing D. The 49ers strong suite on D is the run stop, luckily for us the colts do not rely on their rushing O. The big question in this game is how will the 49ers establish the run in this matchup against the colts 19th ranked rushing D? well, i think they shut down the run. In the past 3 matchups they have allowed fewer yards on the ground per carry than 29 other teams!!! also, ALEX SMITH, yikes what a performance last week. well that was against the texans, he will struggle against the colts 7th ranked pass D especially with freeney and mathis breathing down his neck. An angle i love to take as you have noticed, The colts should get an early lead, this will force S.F. to abandon the run which plays into our DD victory. Crabtree is phenominal, he will be a star, but not this week.

Kurt warner is finaly coming back to form after his offseason surgery. This offense has so many weapons, and there rushing O showed spurts of light against a stout giants D. The good news, carolina can't stop the run to save their lives, the bad news, carolina is 1st against the pass. I don't think this will continue seeing as the panthers have played some very poor team's arial attacks. The cards offensive statistics are very deceiving. I fully expected them to struggle early this year and that is why i bet against them. The chemistry has re-developed and any offense will have trouble against them. The most suprising aspect to this team is their defense. They currently have the 1st ranked rushing D, this is great for us because Carolina's rushing attack is they only way they can win here. John fox is talking about benching Delhomie and i hope he doesn't. This oppertunistic secondary has really stepped up the last 2 weeks. Plus remember last year, their defense was awfull untill this time of year they became very dominant and that is what i see happening again this year. expect a lopsided victory and fly past that 9 pt. spread.

My 2 biggest angles here are simple. The dolphins reached an emotional low after the worst bad beat i have ever seen,bummer-i was already counting the ching- just heartbreaking. Also the jets lost to the fins last matchup in miami. This game is in NY and the jets coming off a rebound blowout are confident but focused and look to revenge the previous loss. The wilcat will move the chains against this struggling rush D, but they will have to convert third downs. The Jets secondary will have no problem containing henne and their mediocre WRs. On the same hand, Miami's rush D should be able to SLOW,not stop, the jets run game. The good news is Miami's banged up secondary will have to stop sanchez on third and manageable. He should have success here against a 19th ranked pass D that is minus a CB and possibly safety. I don't like Miami in this situation at all after giving everything into last week's matchup and falling short then hit the road.Comment -

you want the insurance here, bet this game before it gets to -14. The bears are a good team. That being said, they were completely debacled last week by cincy. This week they are mad, they will be focused and beat up on this browns team just like everybody does. Cutler will shred this defense, and forte might actually have a good game for a change. - Was looking at the total in the mattchup between Ravens/Broncos. Seems a bit to low sitting at 41?
The Broncos are playing the best defense in the league right now - no doubt about that. But the Ravens have been playing very well on offense, and i can't see the Broncos shut down the Ravens comming of a bye week and they really need this one. On the other hand the Raven's defense has been **** compared to the last couple of years and the Broncos should be able to put points on the board.
Haven't really lokked into this one - just my first-hand impression.

Kev, ive been following your picks for a bit, and i want to give my input on this game.
I really like the giants getting points this week. Eventhough giants didnt look that good this week. The eagles looked TERIBBLE. They had 2 big plays on offensive acounting for 14 of their points(these probally wouldnt have been touchdowns agaisnt any other team) the rest of the points else came from thier Defense and seriouly any defense looks good agaisnt washington. They had great field position after there turnovers and all they could get was field goals. They only had 11 first downs the whole game.Mcnabb is throwing balls at the recievers feet. Reid is trying to run the wild cat with vick and gets shut down EVERYTIME. The fact that the eagles won by 10 and the giants lost by 7 last week will give us a great line. Both teams need a win here, but giants just lost 2 in a row. Giants Take the win outright. 10UComment -
Kev, you look like your pretty good there, but to me looks like you just play too many games, that will bite you in the A in the long run, I can understand giving out lots of games to appeal to people who want to play certain games or the "sexy" game on the board. If you really want to make some solid cash you'll learn to narrow down the games and occasionally load on those games you love so much. Its those damn side games that dwindle away a big chunk of your profit on Sundays. Just some words of advice. Not bashing. However in this large world of capping, you always got to think of yourself as the best. I think your good, I think Im the best, and I think you could be pretty good yourself if you just took a better approach! I agree with some of that. Philly is better than they've been playing. But put into the right matchup, i believe we will make a big play or two on the redskins. On dec. 27th, the skins will most likely be a huge play against dallas if the season unfolds like i see it happening. I will get into that later.
The reason i like the giants here is simple, the eagles o-line can't block, the giants will pin their ears back and pressure mcnabb all day. plus the eagles have struggled tackling in the last several weeks, the giants might be able to break a couple. Also the giants record ats on the road is suprisingly good, even more incredible is there record ats after back to back losses. Giants should be focused here.Comment -

The games we are waiting on are looking good. The bills are indicating rlm. The game opened texans -3.5, with 90% of the public on them the spread moved to -3 at some sites. i will write-up later.

Totally agree. At +3 I thought this game was a gift. How happy do you think Tom Coughlin is this week in practice with all the stupid penalties and turnovers his team had Sunday night? This is a guy who thinks your late for a meeting if you show up 10 minutes early. I am not impressed with Philly either. They basically won that game on 3 plays. Offense did really not do much but I do like their defense. I just see NY responding in a very positive way after their play of the last two weeks.Comment
