I watched Oregon against USC. They were absolutely pumped about their new arena. The crowd was going crazy and they were playing a solid game on both sides of the court. I think they'll still be pumped about playing on Matt Court. It'll probably be packed again, especially since it's a weekend so a lot of alums will be trekking out to see the place. I could see them winning this outright.

ok so just a small update on how the line movements have been doing so far in the system plays,

negative line movements haven't been doing so well,
Alabama opened as a pik in some places and others opened at +1 but it eventually moved out to all bookies at +1 and lost,
Vanderbilt opened as a pik and +1 in some places and moved out eventually to +1.5 and lost,
finally louisville opened at -6 moved down to -5 and lost.

Positive line moves however have been doing well;
UConn opened at -9 went out to -9.5 and came in,
Loyola Chicago opened at 4 in some places and 3.5 in others eventually went down to +3 and came in,
Yale opened at +1, went all the way down to -1 at one stage and eventually closed at +1 again and also came in.

yeh the positive line moves seem to be consistently filtering out some of the bad picks. When i tally it up at the end of the day ill take the alabama game as no movement tho. That one was close tho Alabama were leading practically the whole game only for Arkansas to nick it at the end.

Also glad i left the Vanderbilt game, altho that was mainly for the reason that Tennessee are so damn unpredictable, and again Vanderbilt were leading for most of the game just to screw it up near the end. A few bounces the other way and this coulda been a real good day

yeah once i put in a play, regardless of line movement afterwards I just let it go....gotta take good with bad....loyola chi was down 12 in 1st half and stormed for the outright win, these things find a way of balancing out gotta weather the storm.

A bit of a bright spot on this bleak day, however, was my AccuScore filter took out 2 wins and 5 losses, so it went 4-5 -1.5 units. Still a losing day but it would have saved me 3.5 units and a lot of anxiety.

across the board sucked ass tonight. I went 0-4 on 1 unit plays, 4-2 on 1.5 unit plays.
Net=-7.1 units on shitty saturday.
updated record: 1 unit (8-5) neutral line movements 1.5 units (7-3) positive line movements.
net 8.05 units for week
dont really mind realistic perspective to lose, its frustrating as hell because at least 3-4 losses should have won.
Vbuilt, alabama, oregon were all covering at least 3/4 of the game. Moving on to tomorrow.

Hey Dunc,
Thanks for the updates and the filters.
I also like the line movement as a filter as well. IMHO the sharps are going to jump a bad line early and it will move in our direction. I hate buying pts but starting to rethink that.
They both filters are knocking off some losses and that is the best part.
I worked until about 5pm so missed alot of games yesterday got some early games went 2-2 late got beat up. Heres to getting back on the positive side of things.

I didnt check was mostly watching the NFL yesterday along with Ohio State. Did you happen to follow the 2nd half lines at all? I noticed you didnt post them so wondering if that just ended up being a 50/50 prop at best and not worth tracking.

Those picks look good.. What has made you change you strategy away from not playing lines that were double digits?

I believe the difference is if Ken shows them at double digits not if the line is double. IE ken sees them as 8 pt dogs and the line 10.5 it would be a play. (+2.5)

Last two days have been brutal for the Bulldog Subset (and quite choppy for Bulldog himself). A 5-10-1 record from the last few sessions drops the record to 36-22-1 since the first of the year. Here is hoping that we turn it back around today.
