32 and 9 today, in a loss to Kansas State.

This kid is going to be a good one, even on the next level.

All I know is that, as a faithful follower of the Fightin' Texas Aggies, I'm crossing my fingers that Durant really does decide to turn pro after this year

He is pretty good. I know his Uncle. Lives out here in Vegas. He works at a local casino out here.

I heard Chase was recruited to play volleyball at USC and UCLA. But opted for Arizona to play basketball. Smart move.

This is along the lines of how I was thinking. We should wait to pass judgement on Oden till he's had some time to develop his play with a healthier second hand. Durant is talented, and
also needs time to learn how to mesh his athleticism with a more profound understading of the game. In the end, I suspect it's monkey and moose though.

You got to remember, he is only a freshman, and has a long road ahead of him. He will improve his weaknesses. Most college kids dont understand everything about the game. Hell, it sometimes seems some NBA players dont understand the game very well.

Both Durant and Oden will only get better. But will improve their game on the next level, because we got to believe they both will be in the NBA next year.

At this point Oden could dunk Durant (perhaps using only his one good hand).

    But that will change.

Funny, when Garnett came into the league he was unique. Now Oden will come in as unique, practically, with Durant looking like a younger (and maybe better) version of a bunch of other players.

If I had an NBA team, I'd wet myself to find either one of them available. I'd lean toward Oden but ultimately take the guy who seemed to have it above the neck.

Durant has to improve his shot selection before he becomes an elite player. He's good, very talented, but he doesn't understand the game very well.

    Kevin Durant 37 and 23

Beat that Greg Oden. I think Kevin Durant is the better of the two, and Durant isnt getting as much attention as Oden.

    What do you think?
