I know Road fav tough spot but I compare this to the @Maryland game where they got the job done. They haven't been exceptional on the road but they are coming off a huge win against Duke and they will finish off these last few ACC cream puffs and finish the season strong. The line is too friendly. It should be closer to -7 or -7.5.
They can/should win this game by DD.

UVA a big letdown. They controlled that entire game, and folded at the end. Those ones are certainly a little tough to swallow.... Especially when you consider which team is truly better, you get a "favorable" line and you know which team needs the win more, and they can't close the game. Oh well, on to the next one.
I have a play I like for tonight... Souther Miss Golden Eagles will look to close out their season quite strong, and they travel to what I'd certainly consider a "hostile" environment tonight. Marshall is the furthest thing from consistent, and the last time these two teams met, it was a ~60 point absolute embarrassment, in which SM shot ~63% overall and 55% from the 3 point line, hitting 11. You almost felt bad for Marshall! Certainly will have the most ultimate of chips on their shoulder tonight.
Marshall is a team that averages all over the board point-wise. They have good shooting nights, and they have bad shooting nights. Their play is inconsistent and sporadic. They are a young team and they play accordingly. They can come out and handle a game, or they can come out and get handled... I expect them to continue to control the boards, essentially one of the only things they do consistently well, but Southern Miss has the edge everywhere else, in most cases the "edge" being rather significant.
I think this line is deflated because Marshall has found a way to really average above their typical scoring total in their last 5 games, and they are playing at home tonight vs playing at South Miss where they were steam-rolled last time (again the chip on their shoulder...) I run the numbers and all things considered, I still end up scratching my head here, wondering HOW South Miss doesn't win this one by DD???!! Southern Miss with a somewhat impressive 22-7 on the season, and 11-3 in the Conf USA, their only 3 losses coming to conference USA undefeated Memphis, twice, and a lolworthy loss to UCF in one of their more poor performances of the year... If anything, Southern Miss will play with a little chip on their shoulder tonight, being they trounced this team the first time around, and Marshall somehow managed to beat UCF TWICE, for 2 of their 5 Conf USA wins...

My apologies on this play guys... I am extremely disappointed. Two posted losses in a row. I'm having a winning night overall but my big play is a flat out loser. I don't like that at all. I'm overthinking my big play when a few others have more value. Hindsight is always 20-20 but my other play for a unit, which of course I DIDN'T post was Iowa at home. Fukk me

My play for the evening will be Michigan. Why? Plain and simple, they've been horrendous on the road (lately) and they've been horrendous at Purdue.
The fact is, they had a real nice win against Mich St on Sunday and it was quite clear they've gone back to the drawing board to address the area they are weakest...on the boards.
Tonight they face an inferior opponent. Purdue is not the Purdue of the past but they rebound the ball exceptionally well. I think Beillien is totally aware of this, and is also totally aware of what happened at Penn St. I think there is some revenge mentality brewing for this game tonight and it's not only revenge against Purdue at Purdue where Michigan flat out sucks but it's revenge for that embarrassment at Penn St, handing them their only conference win. Michigans gonna ride the high they are experiencing from Sunday and they're going to hammer the shit out of Purdue tonight. An Indiana loss last night bodes even better for Mich in this spot tonight.
A win and they are tied in the Big10 with Ohio St in 2nd place, staring down the throat of an Indiana team that is proven vulnerable. And wouldn't you know it, they close the regular season at home against Indiana...!!! If there was ever a "must hammer" situation for the Wolverines, it is tonight.
