- Jordan has not faced the quality of competition Kongo has
- This will be Jordan's toughest test to date, and (on paper) this is Kongo's easiest test in quite some time.

Speculation:
- Kongo has steadily been improving his wrestling demonstrating good TDD and will not likely be taken down by Jordan, although i believe he could take Jordan down.

-The reason this fight is so difficult to call is both have such poor striking defense, but I believe Jordan's is slightly worse with all around poor technique and against much weaker opposition.

I'm not telling nor advising anyone to do anything, it is critical that you get that through your head dephaggo.

I'm aware that Kelly criterion advises one not to pass on any edge despite how tiny that edge may be. I'm not arguing with you about that. I've already stated in the past that I don't do this full time as a career like others, and this is more of an enjoyable hobby than anything where I like picking my spots (selecting bets that I feel have significant value, and staying away from ones that don't). Let me put this to you in another way, Kelly Criterion is not a one size fits all system and I am more conscious/concerned about my risk of ruin relative to my bankroll than anything. For example many times I see lines off much much more than Kongo/Jordan and those are the ones I jump on. For instance awhile back, Waldburger at evens over Hecht was an exceptional line -insane value on waldburger who should have been -250 at least! In contrast, I can't justify gambling on a fight in which I have absolutely no idea who will be the victor even if it is +115 for a 50/50 fight. There are plenty of opportunities elsewhere that can usually be found where there are +200 dogs who I have capped at 50/50, or a -200 fighter who should be -500 etc and so in these events I feel a bet is warranted. I like the system I have right now, but I'm in no way arguing that kelly criterion is the most widely accepted gambling theory or formula for serious dedicated professional gamblers.

The "Kelly Criterion" is by no means the only system that tells you to make +EV plays. The Kelly Criterion just gives you a system for HOW MUCH TO RISK when these +EV plays arise. In fact, no one will tell you to pass on a +EV play, unless they are a complete moron, or a child who does not have a sufficient bankroll.

You said the other week that you "did not tell people to stop making +EV plays" but yet you did it again. So dating back to that you did not know what a +EV bet was because you were clearly telling people not to make them despite calling me a "troll and a liar" for accusing you of doing so. The posts Dublin quoted made you look like a complete fool.

You even came in this thread telling people not to make them (Dublin quoted you). So either you know STILL don't really understand what a +EV play is, or you do understand but tell people not to make them anyway.

It is a concrete fact that Kongo has overall faced the much better quality competition (cumulatively). I guess you could argue that theoretically Jordan could currently be ranked as high as Kongo since rankings are purely subjective. If you did a thousand person poll right now, asking fans/fighters who they believe is a higher ranked opponent at this point in time the answer would probably be Kongo, based on his resume being considerably stronger than Jordans.
