Adjustment is being made on the Bulls defensive end. They have realized now that they were lucky to have won last game. It was a loose effort. Indiana too realize they had a chance to steal one from the Bulls, but they need to play a better defense, go aggressive with transition & attack the basket before the Bulls can get back and set the wall, and need to make a big adjustment coming to this game, they need to have a good lock in on Rose, force tough shots & use offensive fouls to take him out of the game. This had been done before and the Pacer has key player for this purpose.

New York at Boston
There's endless debates in New York how their team had loss and very closed it had been, with 11 sec to go down by one the knicks could opt to make a 2 points played but instead tossed back to Melo for a missed 3's drill.
Boston had stuck to their gun & played their brand of basketball; defense first and offense plays itself,they didn't need much offense either to get a win, shots just 43.8% FG while the Knicks shots 42.3%, controlled the paint with 44 reb vs 34. These guys know how to win, executed keys possession down the stretch, smart basketball ie. Allen knocked the 3's, Pierce's flop forced Melo a turn over, its all about how to handle it when the game is on the line.
Coming to this game, their plan is pretty much the same for the most parts, but expect a better offense at the post, earn their free throw & make the most of it, fine adjustment & closing the gap from the last game etc. Get a better production from the bench and minutes from J. Green especially, as the Knicks will look to faster with their quicker guard in Tony Douglas and their bench.

Portland regret even more now when they look at review training tape, they had Dallas where they wanted but failed to stop Kidd 6/10 3's went in, slow down Dirk and controlled the Mav's momentum in last 5 minutes of the game. They should know by now, that they shouldn't be using Roy in the final minutes to close out game on the road or they'll get burn, he is a better finisher at Rose garden. They could have paired Camby a slow but better defender with LaMarcus to protect the lead and grind it down, gamble with Kidd and his shots with that last minutes stretch. The same concept that the Hawks had employed with Orlando where D12 can go hot but still loss the game.

Like a hockey game, Denver sent in wave of players but OKC responded through KD and poker god & ref had given them a break. The league had admitted a crucial mistake in officiated a no goal tending but the game's out come is final.
Coming to this game, Denver will look to better themselves defensively by limit KD from touch the ball, limit his shooting space, they need to earn every possessions. Denver needs to be patient with follow through in the post via attack the rim, forcing more 3 points plays & take their physical game to OKC.

UPD:
Manu Ginobili (elbow) has been upgraded from "doubtful" to "game-time decision" for Wednesday's Game 2 against the Grizzlies.
Just about everyone around the Spurs believes that Ginobili will play tonight, so Gregg Popovich is just playing mind games. Ginobili probably could have played Sunday, worked out Monday and Tuesday, and has now been upgraded officially. With the Spurs down 1-0 at home, it would be a shock if Ginobili isn't starting at shooting guard tonight.
