Monday 2/7:

(4x) lakers -160_i feel strongly that the lakers are going to make a big run on this road trip. i had them at the hornets, and i will continue to ride them until they lose. when the lakers win, its typically by a margin > then todays spread, but their last 3 games in memphis were decided by 2, 3, and 2 pts. the lakers not only lost at home to memphis in their last game, they got embarrassed by 19 pts. i look for la to avenge that loss, and continue towards a solid run here on this long road trip.

I really want to take LA but I watched that entire Memphis/LA game and they got so owned. Lakers do have the advantage though in almost every possible category but these damn teams always play so close.

b/c i feel very strongly that the lakers are going to start to roll. they are healthy, and i really dont see them losing 3 games in a row to memphis. i rarely play moneylines, but i feel its a spot to do that with the recent close games in memphis. for me to play 4 units on the game, i obviously see the lakers winning easily, but i dont want to chance it....

posters are correct about LA having difficulty in Memphis previously, however
LA looks in good shape to me here, and is making some changes in their offense.

Kobe Bryant, who added 32 points and nine rebounds, had wanted to see Gasol become more assertive on offense and was pleased with the results.
"I'm always in attack mode and it's my responsibility to recognize things on the team that can help us," said Bryant. "I felt like it was time to kind of have a talk with him and tell him it's OK to be selfish because that's really what we need from him.
"He has the skill to do it. I think it was just more of a mindset more than anything. He's such a nice person. He wants other guys to be involved...but that's not necessarily what's best for our team."
