Paul the mavs are very comitted on the defensive end. Carlisle is a good reg season coach. OKC can't stop a turtle. Did you take the mavs paul?

Lakers are 4-1 ATS last 5 in SA when SA has been favored between 2-3.5 pts. Forget the stats, but they show history and the data is all from the last 3 yrs with very similar teams.

Yes, I usually like fading "public" teams on the road when a dog playing a "lesser" opponent. SA is tecnically a "lesser" opponent but that is not the perception.

Why I really like LA is this besides the fact they are just "better"

I watched the interviews after the shit kicking they got from the Heat and Bucks. Alot of hype around "Mavs and Spurs being some kinda western conference "superiority" this season.

If I know LA like I think I do they will silence all this BS Spurs talk tommorow nite and what better way to do it than shit all over them on there home court. Lakers vs Spurs is what is and LA has been superior last few yrs and are still superior to the Spurs. I think LA is tired of the BS and all the talk. I think they will remind the Spurs and the rest of the NBA that they are the champs and what better opportunity to do it than go to the Spurs HC and cool them off.

Too many people watch the Lakers get there ass kicked at home vs Bucks and Miami and thinks LA sucks now. LA don't suck. There opponents are just more intent on beating them. I told people for weeks that Mia would hammer LA on Christmas day just the same as Lebron did last year. LA don't get up for Eastern Conf teams because they know there is only one time they will see them when it is important...With the Spurs it is a little different. The Spurs actually believe they are "somebodies" and this is the time when LA reminds them they are still there little step sisters of the West.

Anybody that knows basketball knows LA did not play Bucks or Miami with the kinda intensity they are capable of. If LA bring the intensity tommorow nite the Spurs are done.

I could be wrong, but the only thing I could be wrong about is effort. If LA brings it SA don't stand a chance.

Lakers are still coming out of the west, they are at -115 on the greek, Spurs are +525.

Just not sure about tomorrow's matchup.

The only thing to be "unsure" of is "effort" with LA. That's why I usually never bet LA becuase I understand there mindset. They give very little effort most nites and win more games year after year than anybody.

I am "betting" LA brings effort tommorow. They need to send a reminder to the Spurs. Spurs think they are good.

It's early in the season but it really is imperative that LA "reminds" the Spurs. Spurs are not handicappers.. They probably think they are better than LA right now because there fans and record tells them they are.

Also. LA has stunk so much the last 2 games I think they need a reminder for themselves as well just how good they are.

Beat Spurs tommorow and then they can coast along another couple of months winning 70% of there games

When LA is in "message" sending mode they usually lock teams down on the defensive end. Last year on a Wednesday nite when Spurs where improving and LA was faltering and all the SA talk surfaced again LA went into there building and held them to 83 pts and Spurs were -2 that nite. It was just a small reminder before the playoffs started..

Who on the Spurs can score on Lakers players if they bring it? SA has really no beneficial matchup on the court other than Parker.. Don't buy the Spurs hype. LA will shit all over them when there ready.

Spurs have been garbage on defense lately. thing that worries me but if LA holds them in the 80's 90's like they can the Under should be good to go.

SA's commitment to revving up their offense made them all shiny and flashy early on, but it will make them a much easier out come playoff time when their legs aren't there and they can't rely on the trademark defense because it hasn't been their focus all season long.

I really like LA tmrw as well lyon..I feel like coming off a tough christmas loss in LA, Kobe was very sincere in his comments after the game..he flat out said that the Lakers played like crap and changes will come..I think this is a huge game for them and they come out and send a message

Kobe will deliver the message himself. the lakers play well in sa always. the spurs are pretty undersized in the paint and the tougher rebounding teams like dallas and the hornets they have had close games.

betting against kobe after a humiliation on christmas day? no thanks. problems on tape are easily fixable, stagnant offense, and everyone trying to play outside their roles. i don't know i just would rather put my money in kobe's hands in this game after 2 embarassing losses at home.

Yeah, interesting..but the greek has given up the ghost now and Pinny looks soon to follow. ML is dropping. No way of knowing who wins, but I am betting LA makes an appearance tonite and if they do that will be too much for the Spurs.

TheGreek held Magic -5.5 yesterday the whole time while everybody had -6, magic blew out NJ. They are right a bunch but 3 and 3.5 aren't big deals anyway IMO.
