Brandon Roy was told he could not injure his torn miniscus in knee any more by playing with the injury.. now with him, his agent, or the organization opting to go for surgery, forget it.. their season is over. Probably a wise move long term because Roy has a history going back to college of being injury-prone in his knees. Pryzbilla, Oden, Roy. They are maililng in the rain check for the postseason with a mind toward preserving Roy for next year.
