Anybody notice how much better the Lakers were without Kobe?

Trust me.... If the guy would just take some time off the team wouldnt miss a beat.

They need him for the playoffs, b/c nobody else on the team has big enough balls to carry a team.

But the regular season... More Gasol, and less Kobe please.

Kobe is a "numbers" player especially when winning the game is in check. He has the ability to create for his teammates, but does not do so as much as he could/should. Last nite just under 3 minutes and Lakers only winning by 3 Kobe made a strong move to the basket and the defense collapsed on him and he kicked it out to a wide open Ron Artest that nobody was within 20 ft of. Artest knocked the 3 down. Kobe also set Gasol up nicely twice as well. Kobe is a selfish player. Did you see him "streetballin" VC at 3 pt line last nite and then bricking the 3? I laughed my ass of. I thought I was watching a "AND1" game
