OK, need to come to Lakerboys corner here.... money management.... you PLAY to WIN! When you are up, you take more risk and have higher unit games. What if it hit? Instead of being up a little, he's up a lot. When you are on a hot streak, you dont play conservative... if you do, you will always end up losing money in the end. Also, have you accounted for games that he really loved? Just because it didnt hit didnt mean it was a favorite play... there are reasons to love games that in the end dont hit, BS happens. I came over to read up on how he did today and got steamed reading that money management quote. If you play the same units on every game, that means you like all games the same, correct? Well, thats not possible in the betting world, you will have the games you love and are willing to risk more. In the end, its the excitement of having won and counting the money you are up.
I started with 1-2-3 unit plays when I first started using hundreds, went to 1-3-5, 3-5-7, 5-10-15, 10-20-30 and on with favorites always being piled on. Now its thousands on units, not hundreds... thats my point. ANyhow, LB doing awesome.

I will stay away from that game.

Everything points to the Hawks at +1, BUT, OKC is one of the harder teams to read, you know why? Because they themselves don't know who they are. They are really a new team who's still looking for themselves. They don't know yet if they're a good play-off bound team, or just a party pooper. They seem to play according to their opponent's level, and their W-L record speaks for itself. I bet since they know who's coming to town today, they're already all pumped up and ready to ball. I will definitely keep myself away from this game, there's still 6 more to choose from.

Thanks guys. Right now my goal isnt making money. My goal is to increase my winning % and that is the only reason i am playing lots of games so I can go 6-2 and make 5 units. I dont care about the money my local pays according to winning %. If you are 60% or above he pays you 1 unit per pick and so on.

Agreed and what if his big play won and more of his smaller plays lost and he came out + units then he would have good money management right?

NFLGuru, I think LB did the right decision of going only 6U and i completely understand why he did it. I mean he was already up 11.7U and he could of easily gone 10U but knew he wanted to be up over the day and just enjoy the games coming to watch. He made smart play by just ignore POR game and just taking a chance in the dark to go w/ DAL to hopefully break the bank. In my books thats an A1 play and any guy who has brains to see gets my kudos. That was LB in prime form showing you how money management is done, i make unbiased decisions but I think people who have been referring to daysof LB where it seems he goes on TILT, and I can refer back to Last week on Jan 23rd and 24th where he chose big Unit plays of 8U on SAC and chased w/ a 10U on DEN.

I know its not a tilt call because I know he was sitting in a good spot. but others will percieve it to be differently. At that day he was at 130.98U and he took a chance at hit, he normally was averaging around 106U ... so he took a shot and missed... no biggie.
