AC Monday Hoops -- Start It Off With A Bang
    Hey Guys,

Hoping to start things off here with a bang. Rate my plays 1-5 units, you know the story. Im 18 years young, finishing up some schooling this semester then heading down to Antigua and try find a job in the gaming industry. For now, and maybe for a while its just me and my plays.

    Detroit Pistons +6.5 (-110) 2 UNIT PLAY

I like the Pistons here for a number of reasons.

First of all, there is the streak. 12 Losses in a row, failing to cover 9 of 10 in Chicago. Now, if your reading what I have to say for a first time, you may be thinking, why did I click on this link, that makes no sense. Dont worry, Ill make you a believer in the Pistons tonight. Detroit had their young guys, not Hamilton and Wallace letting out their anger following their loss to the Sixers. Stuckey dropped a few convincing quotes to ESPN that show me this team will do anything for a win. Chicago is in a classic look ahead situation with a matchup against the Celtics in Boston. Not to mention they have also beat this Pistons team twice this year. The needy and desperate Pistons are going to catch the easy going, lazy Bulls team tonight off guard and come out of the Windy City with a cover.

    Back the Pistons tonight!

    May The Winners Be Yours!

Sharp post and nice angles brought to light. It appears their is sharp money all over the Pistons tonite. I myself am wandering about this game and I am well aware of the trend with the Pistons and their S/U and ATS records against Chicago. The average capper is all over Chicago right here, in light of the trends.

Oustside of the game I find interesting is this... Rather you analysis produces a winner or not remains to be seen. I must say that is some unbelievable material and thoughts coming from an 18yr old??? Most 18yr olds do not gamble on sports at this age let alone are well versed when it comes to trends and angles..

Secondly, I find it amazing this is your very first post to the forum. Way too polished for an 18yr rookie. All compliments I might add..

My question is this.... Who are you? 18yr old? Trends analysis?? Doesn't add up!! Most 18yr olds are looking for their next XBOX game.. Way to seasonsed to be 18??

Hell, I got my start when I was 19yr old and wasn't near that sharp.

Would not lie about that guys, I don't have to prove anything but hell, if it comes down to that and I must, crazier things have happened.

I don't plan on selling picks in the future but hell if I get offered the chance to do it, I would gladly take it, who wouldn't?

Only reason I posted it was because this is 100% the field I am going to spend my life working in. I have joined a number of bigger name forums and maybe someone will notice me sometime, maybe not. It only makes sense for me to get my name out there and see what happens.

Pistons playing slow and getting beat in the fast break. Down a dozen, still tons of time left. Bulls on a run, no time to sweat with the 6.5 points in the pocket.

I see this nearly every time I watch a NBA game. Teams make a run late in the quarter, Pistons cut it to 9 points with 40 seconds to play, run the clock down miss the shot and are slow on transition, Chicago gets a wide open 3, puts the lead back to double digits and takes all the momentum away from Detroit going in. Its sickening because you know that one basket is coming back to haunt you at the end of the game.

What gives me hope the comback is still very alive are these stats:

          Detroit:

          Points 47
          Field Goals 19-40, 47%
          Free Throws 10-13, 76%
          3-Pointers 1-6, 16%
          Off. Rebounds 7
          Def. Rebounds 13
          Total Rebounds 20
          Assists 10
          Blocks 2
          Fouls 7
          Steals 4
          Turnovers 7

          Chicago:

          Points 61
          Field Goals 27-48, 56%
          Free Throws 4-5, 80%
          3-Pointers 3-7, 42%
          Off. Rebounds 7
          Def. Rebounds 16
          Total Rebounds 23
          Assists 14
          Blocks 1
          Fouls 12
          Steals 5
          Turnovers 5

Really the only differences in the stats are in FG% and the 2 3 PT shots made late in the 2nd Quarter. Chicago is more then likely to drop down to average FG% as they are rather high at 57% while Detroit is right around par at 47%. Detroit has a big edge in fouls and is driving to the bucket quite well against this Bulls defense (Heinrich 3, Rose 2, Johnson 3). If they stick with the game plan a team like this can wear you down late and get the backdoor cover.

If the Pistons keep this where it is, the backdoor is looking great.
