Nene has 3 fouls. He will be in foul trouble in the 2nd half. New Orleans is shooting less than 36% in the 1H which I predict will change in the 2h. Ill take my chances and put a medium play on New Orleans ML 2nd half.

This is not the same New Orleans team we saw last season in the playoffs. Theyre not playing with 10% as much heart as the Nuggets from what Im seeing right now.

Haha. Wheres the hornets defense that theyre supposed to be known for. This is making me sick watching this. My rec league can play better than the hornets.

Nuggets Hornets Game 4
Hey CK,
I needs some advice and sorry if this is early. THe Nuggets shot unreal at home and that probly will not go into New Orleans in game 3. So i am assuming that the nuggets lose game 3. I will be driving to Vegas that day!
So I ask this question. Assuming the Nuggets fail to win Game 3 Saturday(and dont cover). With this situation lets say that the Nuggets are getting a couple points or a pickem(not real sure and I know game 3 has a lot to do with this). After watching these games do you feel that a good time to fire big on the Nuggets.
Sorry I know this is sorta vague but I will be in Vegas so will not be the nickel bagger that I am in Denver. Any opinion is greatly appreciated.
Your close and dear friend Broncos.

ok, today was bad... first losing day since saturday when i pushed.... time to get some homework done... i had a lean on ORL -6 1st half, but wound up just running with the line movement even though i was afraid of the backdoor cover. I wondered to myself if the horny's would repeat their road woes of last year having a team that is inferior to last year and facing a denver team that is better than last years spurs. I was busy today, but that was being lazy... i have some leans for tomorrow, but i will continue booking it to make sure i don't get had like i did tonight.
firstly... jazz at home are as tough a game as any team could ask for. They have run into the lakers in consecutive playoff seasons and this is becoming a rivalry of sorts. Despite their recurring inability to keep from getting jumped on early, they scrapped back in that laker game and showed that they can score on and stop the lakers. Imagine what that will be like with the quintessential salt lake crowd. HUGE early RLM.
UTAH ML (big)
of the four matchups with dallas this year, the spurs only went into the halftime without a lead once, and that was in the first matchup when the spurs really struggled early. More importantly the spurs lead by 2 and 1 respectively during the regular season (they have also lead by 4 and 11 at home during the playoffs), not enough to inspire a whole lot of confidence, but when the books are offering a 2 point cushion, i feel pretty good about trusting pop to put out an effective first half game plan as he usually does when his boys take to the road in the big games, and the spurs are as professionally capable of implementing a quality attack as any in the game. The whole dampier slamming parker idea might have been a good strategy to knock parker off balance early, but if you're just going to call your shots like that, the spurs will be ready. Plus tony parker has never had a problem getting tossed to the floor, almost making it part of his game sometimes. Plus hard fouls can't make up for the mavs' lack of interior defense. Dallas may be able to come back and win this one, but if my research pays off, i'll be watching with a fatter wallet so that i can have a better angle for game 4
SA +2.5 1st half
as for the other game, i'm tossing options around still... so far i have CHI 1Q, as they were 8-3 down the stretch at home against contenders and have yet to win a 1Q in this series, tying in the first and getting handled in the 2nd game. I will probably also tail CK on that under, because boston hasn't been very good defensively even though that's how they built their squad. Still the total hasn't changed from game to game... still figuring this one all out.

My playoff posts have been bad. Sorry to those who tailed. I hope to break out of the slump soon. For tomorrow:
line: lal@uj 214
pick: 214 under
Yes, the over is on an 9-1 run for both teams head to head. In those 10 games, the lone under game was the game that the Jazz won SU. Out of the 9 overs, the Jazz only won twice SU. If the Jazz are to win this game, then defense is the only way to do it. They cannot go out and try outscore the Lakers because this formula has not worked out as seen in their last 10 games matchup. Home is the perfect place to start. High altitude, electric crowd and the thought of going down 0-3 in the series should be the necessary motivations for Utah. Tomorrow, Sloan will have his men ready in their hard hats and do the neccessary defensive adjustments against the Lakers.

Called it the same way dude. Glad to see that. Lakers wont get as many fouls or great bench play on road, especially in Utah. But I still dont know if there is a defensive adjustment for the Lakers(offensive juggernaut).

My booked plays for tonight's game are.
Bos +3 Depleted line-up but high in morality. They're the defending champs though.I'll be taking the points here,I have a feeling that it will be the same as the Heat/Hawks last night.Pierce will take his team to a 2-1 lead going to game 4.
Utah +2 Loud arena. The jazz i think will take care of business at home and calls will be favored for them.
Sas +5.5 & U 191 Both games 1&2 winners were decided by double digits. Both team's coaches are defensive minded. And i think the under will be favored here with a different play coming up.Both teams don't want to lose game 3 because in playoffs the 3rd game it's the most important game.Taking the points, this will be a close game than the games in 1&2.
All of my plays here are played very heavy.Sorry CK,only one team(JAZZ) that we are in common of playing it.Good Luck.

well I think it all depends on the next two games...if the Bulls can really pull it off...the Celts are in trouble...but if Bos wins tonight I think you have a good chance...

whoa - do you have a link for that?
im showing rondo is playing..
Contrary to an earlier report from Doc Rivers, Rajon Rondo did practice through a sprained right ankle on Wednesday and is set to play in Game 3 against the Bulls on Thursday.
In addition, Brian Scalabrine also practiced for the first time in weeks after suffering a concussion. Scalabrine has been cleared to play in Game 3 as well, and the Celtics can use him with Kevin Garnett and Leon Powe out for the playoffs. Source:Celtics Blog Related:Brian Scalabrine
