(Cleveland lost to the Wiz). I'm betting on some tough angles here. People say Cleveland is in for a revenge game but as long as Agent 0 keeps Lebron in check, I can count on the Wiz losing by single digits.

Although this line scares me I'll take it as a blessing and roll wtih Detroit. NYN come off a disheartening loss vs Chicago which they were in control/contention most of the game. No playoff hopes for Knickerbockers and everything to play for Pistons. Bynum more than making up for the loss of Iverson. Fourth game in five nights for the Knicks.....Pistons roll

I did not play anything other than Utah HEAVY today because I went ahead and played all of the 1st innings today. There were too many of them for me to stay off of it.

it sounds like utah HEAVY and the first innings were the only plays you made. when in actuality you meant that utah was the only heavy play amongst your picks for the day. but your writeups were good enough, and if you drop a play you usually give a reason, so i don't think too many got screwed up if they misread this.

I took the Wizards +5 1Q because they beat the Cavs in the 1st Q all 3 times this year.......and I LOST.

I took the Celtics -3 1Q because they beat the Nets in the 1st Q all 3 times this year by 7, 14, and 7........and I LOST.

I took the Reds to win 1st 5 Innings......they were up 4-2 going into the 5th Inning and the Mets scored 3 runs......so I LOST.

I took the Mariners to win 1st 5 Innings......they were up 5-4 in the bottom of the 5th, but the Twinkies scored 2 runs.....so I LOST.

Went on tilt......so I played CK's Utah bet.....I got it at +3.5 and bought the extra point to make it +4.5......still WAY too early to tell, but the Jazz are down by 13 in the 2nd Q.

and also, i used ck's tactics and things i learned from this thread to help me make my suns pick for today. so that right there, even though it wasn't one of his picks, from this thread i gathered enough information to hone in on what i think are good plays and what i should pass on. yet so many people hate and hate and hate.

anyway, tonight i'm going out on a limb and saying phoenix is going to cover. pretty good line movement in that one from what i'm seeing as well, and the suns did just get embarrassed on sunday, whilst the hornets are coming off an ot win on the road. seems like a good spot for **GASP** phoenix to get a cover/win. the suns may conceivably have nothing to play for, but i'll take their bruised egos over the undermanned, tired hornets tonight!!
