I am posting in Dexters' NCAA Dog Tracker thread in the NCAA section. If I have to text him with my plays then he will post my picks for me there as well

Welcome to the Daily Weather Report for Wednesday, 3-18-09...my profuse apologies for the late report as you know we usually update in the morning, but better late than never..lets check the weather for yesterday...

Ck went 8-7-1 on posted plays with +4.1 units gained...cumulative totals now at 120-108-5 and +.10 units ...wow...into plus units now!! Congrats!

I went 1-1 on posted selections with a -.10 units lost..cumulative now at 19-18 and -1.60 units ....

I will mention that only Ck's main post thread will be monitored from now on...any plays posted in other threads ...unless transferred by Ck to his main thread..will not be calculated in the total....

My selection for tonight is ...The Atlanta Hawks -5 hosting the Dallas Mavericks...The key for the Hawks is keeping Nowitski under control...and with the new "more big men" lineup Dallas will be using there should be more fatigue in the big men in the 4th...look for a close game that the Hawks take over in the last 10 minutes...

Taking the Golden State Warriors +14 (-130) visiting the LA Lakers...Lakers woes covering at home is well documented and the Warriors are a live dog at anytime, much less plus a big number...should cover easily...good luck!

Good Morning SBR and welcome to your Weather Report for Thursday, 3-19-09! Today we have the first major weather report from Reno and the Weather Report has spared no expense to find the details...sometimes the weather can be tricky...so tricky.....but without further adieu...lets see the facts of the matter...

Ck went 10-14-1 on the first day official day of March Madness with -6.0 units lost...Cumulative record now at 130-122-6 with -5.90 units lost..

I went 2-0 with the Atlanta Hawks and LA Lakers taking care of business to go +2.0 units on the night...cumulative record now at 21-18 and +.40 units...

For tonight...I like the Memphis Grizzlies +12 (-120) visiting the New Orleans Hornets...the Griz have been keeping games close despite their o'fer for the month of March...going to ride them here again in this spot..

Also, strong lean and probable play on the Spurs hosting the Celtics...Boston is a mess of injuries and almost any number should be covered by the Spurs but I will wait and see what they post..

Added selection for tonight...Garnett is probable to play for the Celtics although rust/minute mixing should actually help the Spurs so I will take them here at -3 (-120)...the Celtics are injury riddled and Garnett back will help in the long run...but not tonight...

Bad weather continues out in Reno as the rain just won't stop...but silver linings seem to be behind heavy clouds that just can't be fully determined ...however, today the weather promises to be absolutely amazing so lets get through the mud here and on to today's weather asap!

Ck went 4-10 on posted selections with -7.3 units lost...cumulative totals now stand at 134-132-6 and -13.20 units lost...

I went 0-1-1 on my selections with a -1.20 units lost...cumulative totals now at 21-19-1 and -.80 units lost...

Everyone has their own way of capping, Solobass...sorry that it did not seem anyone was interested in the math side of it but it does not surprise me as gamblers typically are not the strong "math" types..although there are exceptions..

Maybe you and Dr. Bob could start an email correspondence?

Taking the Phoenix Suns -14 hosting the Washington Wizards...this will be the 4th road game in 5 days....5th game in the last week for the struggling Wiz...just do not see them having the gas to keep up in this one and it will be a shootout...Phoenix by 20+...

Not too bad when you factor in the rest of the bets were for $300.00 and the major (Lakers -3.5 was hit up for $5500.00) A record doesn't mean that much when you hit the big ones. Now math wizard tell me how much I ended up with at the end of the day with that math and tell me that I'm not better at this than you. And when you finish it is plain to see that I was ahead at the end of the night and enjoyed a nice show with the Missus. It's called money management.

Hey CK, just curious; 300 for the rest of the bets and 5500! fot that one its a monster difference to not pointed out as you use to do when you go "big" or "heavy" for usually lower amounts. 5500 its almost in your old PC plays line!!.. just seemed to me unusual not to report that kinda size bet compared to other ones amount. By the way, no trying to offence or criticize, since I made money in the past with SPs and other picks from you. Just wondering about this..

I understund on the other hand, Smacksmiter, nobody here is forced to show his picks in any way that wont be the way he wants, the same as nothing is forced to tail nobody, and if one chooses to do it, hes the only one responsible for the result of his own actions.

See one thing that you have left out is my system plyas for the tournament. And one other thing is that the Lakers was JM play and obviously it can't be played as a JM play in Nevada because you can't buy points. So it was played straight as a normal play which is why I played it so heavy.

Any random subset of your plays should perform as well as all of your plays. Since you are so defensive about this you could solve the whole thing by posting your record, including your weighted picks. Making a post hoc claim that you played your winners heavy and your losers light may be true, but it isn't very convincing, particularly when you make the same claim daily.

My record is 1-25 over the last 2 weeks. I was down $25 with the losers but i am up $2500 with the one winner cos I went heavy on that one... As you do.... Sports gambling is like other things in life CONSISTENCY. Going deep on plays is also POOR MONEY MGTM. Just my piece. Plus if your going to take a shot its only fair to disclose it as UNITS wagered are crucial to be disclosed.

Why? I don't make picks with the idea that I will be tailed. I make them because that's how I do things. Secondly if you have read this entire thread you would know by now that I don't need any lessons in money management. This thread is to report the record, and Smacky is not privvy enough to have any more information than that. But for him to act as if I a m not making money is absurd. So I have to point it out for him every now and then. I play the JM plays heavy and that's the principle. In case he didn't get tht by now, I think that that is a testament to his bone headed nature. I playedit straigth with no cut on it (buying the points) so it became a ordinary straight play. Thanks but no thaks for your assertions and offerings

I went back and looked for a UCONN play for yesterday and did not see it anywhere...please be so kind as to provide a link to that play as I certainly want to keep an accurate record...thank you for your assistance..

It was in a discussion, Smacky the same way that you found the "JM" play that you listed because you found it in a discussion. Look like you have some reading to do. SO you misseed Memphis 1st and 2nd and game as well as the UCONN play for Saturday. I played the under as well as UCONN, Smacky. Once again you are only seeing what you want to see. I let it be known what the plays are a best I could. So you are missing 4 winners in all for Saturday. But as always, it is not important to me as it is to you. Just keep the record straight and count everything as one unit.
