S3: W 6 | L 0 (+6,00 units)
S4: W 12 | L 0 (+13,00 units)
Should be 12 right? If S1 is -1.45 then a win is one unit
S1 17-18.45=-1.45
So S4 is 12 units.
Not doubting math, just a quick correction.Comment -

#1099He played 2 units on a S4 spurs series
Then the records are what HE personally plays and not the system at all. Are there games Stif only played 1/2 a unit on? Are some games 1.5 units? What is his record on 2 unit games in the last 6 years.
See what I'm getting at? If he counts that one game as two wins then it's not longer a system and just his personal wagers.
Counting one system game as 2 units opens up a HUGE can of worms.
I totally know the systems numbers are legit but . . . . I'm in love with accuracy.Comment -

#1100Hey Stifler,
So I usually post on covers but ran across this thread on SBR. I like your system - so i'm going to play it this year along with other models that I play. I tend to automate any systems I play - so I automated yours. See the attached zip file.
All you have to do is click on the "Today" button to navigate to today's date, and click the "update" button and it will pull in all the data needed from the web (i.e Covers ATS results, etc) to determine the plays of the day. I also added a Bet Tracker tab. If you click on the "Add Bets" button any plays for the day are copied to the Bet Tracker tab and it tells you the when and against what team the future plays will be if A,B, or C bet are lost.
One of the nice features you can click the "-" button and navigate to past dates and see if a chase started on that day.
So use it if you like - hope it makes it easier - if you find any bugs - let me know.
Also - in order to run the macros needed to pull the data from the web you NEED Excel 2007 or newer - sorry NO Open Office - you need MS Excel. So really only PC's - No MACS
Good Luck on the season and Enjoy!

#1103Originally posted by Grinder12000Well seriously - you can't count that as two plays then as it makes all the records bogus. Unless he can list all the plays in the last 6 years he has played two units on.

#1104Sorry - I didn't meant to sound so confrontational - I think it's this cold I have. It's one of those - one extra win does not disqualify the system at all, but accuracy is always nice.Comment -

looking forward to the next season i would post the backtested record from the covers lines in my first post. What im doing here is making small upgrades to get some extra cash out of the system. Im not forcing anyone to play a 2unit series.
I dont wanna start a senseless discussion about accuracy, but just going by some random closing lines on covers is even more inaccurate than posting live lines ur really getting when placing the bets. Everyone have to live with the line he is getting, this closing covers line wont get his win. I know this will end in another senseless discussion.
As already said @ the beginning of the next season i will come up with the record from the covers backtested lines. That still doesnt mean my life is depending on those lines and to play every series for 1unit. Nothing wrong with doing it though.
I don't feel like scrolling back through 30 pages of clutter to find his post, but I am pretty sure he said he was playing that for 2 units but only counting it as a system play for 1 unit.Comment -

Just to make it clear then. The stats listed are not stats that follow to The Chase system but are your own stats - that's fine. It's all good.

Grinder - yeah I hear ya...but you can check me out on Covers. I have been there for quite awhile. I wanted to post just a link to download the file from google docs - but when I tried that - I got banned as a spammer and had to get my account activated...
Unfortunately I can't post an xlsm file (i.e excel file with macros) either.
But I hear ya - sorry not many other options to share an excel file

#1112Originally posted by TB12This Excel seems awesome but I have no idea how to use it, could you go into further detail of how it works?
If it is a play - it will indicate what the play is under the system columns in BLUE. For example - go ahead and click on the "-" button and navigate to 12/5/12. You will see that you should start a chase / fade for the following: Fade Sac, Chase Orl, Fade GSW, (note: Fade Den not included because it was removed from Team Filters by Stifler)
Now you would click the "Add Bets" button and it will copy the plays to the "Bet Tracker" Tab - you will see on the Bet Tracker tab - the Team, The Play, what system it falls under - and when the scheduled A,B,C,D games are. It will also highlight in yellow if the series (i.e row) is an open series and it will highlight if within an open series if you should play the corresponding A,B,C or D game.
Hope that helps
