#1123Don't forget that some of you won that first S$ bet the other night.
Off Topic - Excel - lots of people showing interest in Excel. I'm taking an ACCESS course from
http://www.learnitanytime.com/ and for people that learn better from being shown (as opposed to books) it's REALLY good for $25 a month. They answer questions really fast, on your own time and so forth. I think I'll look into Excel macros at some point.
I highly recommend this place for cheap in-depth learning. They go from basic to advanced.
Carry on.Comment -

#1128for S4 you have fade mem 2x. does that mean a 2 unit play?
I don't think so, but would like to confirm.Comment -

#1129@licker, if you look back, mem fade was already a series play but it pushed (A Bet against the Suns), so we continue on with the series and still consider ourselves on the A Bet of that series. On top of that, mem fade qualifies again (OT against Suns)Comment -

#1130Dang, I won that Memphis bet (local had Phoenix at +10.5)...now to decide if I want to play this series as a double or just leave it as a singe...decisions, decisions...

#1131tjohnstone3 - not that it's any help but I'm playing it as a double for giggles. After all the theory has not changed, we just got some extra cash a few days ago.
Also playing my own S1A Grinder Orlando so there are hanging chads everywhere LOLComment -

I could be wrong here - but I don't think so because I read the post where if you have multiple W's or L's in a row another A bet starts.
So Chase ORL - should be a play under System 2 (Road Split)
11/19 @ ATL - W ATS
12/2 @ LAL - W ATS
12/3 @ GSW - W ATS
A BET start at UTAH
12/5 @ UTA - W ATS (clears A bet)
12/7 @ SAC - Start another series (A Bet)
So shouldn;t we start another Chase ORL series? - or am I missing something.Comment -

#1135The utah win was the first game of the new starting streak. If they W the next 2 games on the road ATS they will qualify for the next series play.

W - 3 game winning streak
W - start series with A Bet (new potential winning streak starts aswell)

#1137TB12 / Riceboi - and all others interested.
As requested here is an excel spreadsheet that will allow you to import NBA Game / ATS results from Covers. All you have to do is select the SEASON you want to import from the dropdown and click the "IMPORT" button. The game logs for all the teams will be downloaded to the Covers Data tab.
I already imported 2007-2008 to 2011-2012 seasons - but if you want you can clear the blue cells in the Covers Data tab and start over or add to it. Anytime you import a season it is pasted below the last row.
Well that's it - enjoy!

I thought you always just look back 3 games - in fact I thought it made a lot of sense to me since you would take advantage of long ATS streaks.
Example:
Instead of:
W
W
W - 3 game winning streak
W - start series with A Bet (new potential winning streak starts aswell) - 1 UNIT WON HERE
W
W - 3 game winning streak, next series would start on their next game
W - start series with A Bet - 1 UNIT WON HERE
By continuing the A bets you get:
W
W
W - 3 game winning streak
W - start series with A Bet (new potential winning streak starts aswell) - 1 UNIT WON HERE
W - 1 UNIT WON HERE
W - 1 UNIT WON HERE
W - 1 UNIT WON HERE
Have you backtested it betting the streak like this?

As you continue to bet their winning streak, do you stop betting once the streak is broken, or stop betting once you have lost 4 straight in a row? I heard of one person doing this for MLB for the o/u where they have like 15-17 striaght overs or unders and that make a good amount, but idk if it was tested on NBA or not.
Careful what you post, a lot of people get butt hurt about posting theory that do not have a 10 year back test on it LOLComment -

Thanks TB12 - Like I mentioned I am usually on Covers. I automated B2W's RPI chase system for MLB last year - and will be doing it again this year with nay updates he may have.
Also there is a 3 game chase system after all star break that has a monster win rate - I think undefeated since 2000 or something like that.
And AllDayGambler (ADG) on Covers consolidated and tweaked all of Cisco's systems from Covers - So I will be automating those as well.
As for Hockey - I have a bunch I want to run - but no season yet- I think they may cancel the whole sha-bang-abang - it's not sounding like an agreement is gonna be reached any time soon. Which will suck - but what can you do.
If you hear of any good MLB systems let me know

#1145Yeah you got it Stifler. This way you can take advantage of a team that may streak 15 times in a row. I have the Covers ATS data from the last 6 years - I will see if I come up with anything using this method of betting and potentially seeing if a 3 game chase rather than a 4 game is even feasible.Comment -
