#10053Lol! Crack up.Originally posted by thorny2 (penalty), 4 (unconverted try), 6 (converted try) are the main scoring numbers. Field goal is worth 1 point.
difference between 8.5 and 9.5 isn't much, the only way you'd lose is via field goal. Rarely do games end with a 9 point margin, it's either 8 and then 10.
Mate, if you don't know the difference between Rugby UNION and Rugby LEAGUE then might be a good idea to avoid betting on it ay.
The Sevens is Rugby UNION.
Try is 5, converted try 7. Field goal (drop goal) and penalty are both worth 3. However these are rare in Sevens. Unless going for the win/draw at the death.Comment -

#10061Dont know when these allegations were made but they sound very familiar to the ones made by Declan Hill in his book The Fix, released in 2011 or 2012 if I'm not mistaken. It includes allegations of match fixing by Singaporean fixers who claim to have fixed games at the 2006 world cup including the Italy vs Ukraine quarter final. He also claims that the Ghana national team were paid off during that world cup as well. Fascinating claims and a really good read. Who knows what to believe at the end of the day.Originally posted by Jago2008Since we're on the topic, interesting article about match fixing in Soccer (football), including an Australian match:

#10065When he posted a reply to a specific line to a game already being discussed, it is fairly obvious which sport he is talking about. We all make mistakes, but you should check before you call people out for being incorrect, especially in that manner and especially when they are trying to help others!Originally posted by nzgamma

Anyway, I am leaning Aus to cover too, but not sure if I will pull the trigger. There is some easier soft money with a sportsbet promotion (money back if Aus lose by less than 10, up to $100) for those that are willing to take shorter odds too.Comment -

#10071Cheers mate, I smashed the -18.5 and the -22.5 on NZ before the lines went up, hope NZ can be the job done.
I don't mind France @ 2.45 to beat a kenyan side that desperately misses Mike Friday...however it is france so wouldn't play anything serious there, I can get +5.5 @ the nz tab might have a wee wager on that.
Looks like Argentina are probably going to cover, didn't end up playing that.
I think England will destroy usa, Fiji destroyed them despite poor discipline and USA dominating territory and possession in the first half, England looked very clinical in their first game and will bring much more heat on defense and at the breakdown.Comment -
