    Yeah, strong sides.

I'm having a cheeky ML parlay on Aus in the cricket into Hawks over North paying about EV for fun.

Not that I know f-all about the NAB cup, where teams are at and how the recruits are going.

When we were closing in to kick a sealer at the end, a clear clothes line on a richmond player near the ball goes un noticed! Also if miller could convert better we would have won! Still happy to be watching footy!

Also AFL uses it to try out some new/quirky rules, to see how they work in competition. eg. 9 points for goal from outside of 50 metre mark. I also believe they are trialling video replay system in hope of introduction in regular season.

Yeah i think the only thing to be brought over to the regular season will be the video replay

the out of bounds rule is rubbish

    From sportal for tonights matches

LAST YEAR'S NAB CUP: Collingwood swept past Richmond and Carlton in last year's opening-round tri-series before accounting for Sydney by 14 points in a quarter-final, the Eagles by 24 in the semis then the Bombers in the grand final. The Bulldogs didn't make it past the opening round where they traded a 31-point win over North Melbourne for a 21-point loss to Geelong. The Giants also failed to advance after straight-sets losses to the Sydney Swans by a whopping 79 points and Gold Coast, 28.

WE THINK: The Magpies' priority is to finish the season strongly, not to burst from the blocks, but they must be strongly favoured to advance from this group. New coach Nathan Buckley is keen to get miles into the legs of his senior players and try out some youngsters such as ruck prospects Jarrod Witts, John Ceglar and U.S. import Shae McNamara. First-year Bulldogs coach Brendan McCartney will unveil his new game plan with its emphasis on winning the contested ball, and a revamped forward structure in which Liam Jones and Jordan Roughead will figure prominently. The Dogs will be keen to ensure that former team-mate Callan Ward's first game as the Giants co-captain will be one to remember. And what of GWS? Winning is out of the question, so they'll be judged by their competitiveness and the all-important first impressions of their top-end draftees. Israel Folau gets the chance to prove he's the real deal and not just a promotional vessel, and Kevin Sheedy returns to the match-day saddle. Pulling the right reins won't make any difference. It's Collingwood, comfortably.

What does everyone think of the lines for tonights matches?

    Bulldogs -30.5 vs GWS
    Pies -7.5 vs Bulldogs
    Pies -35.5 vs GWS

The worry I have is GWS will come out to play and the Dogs and Pies will just be treating it like a training run. Thinking maybe the pies -7.5 is the best bet...

If doggies (almost full strength) couldn't beat GWS by more than 5 goals I cant see them getting anywhere near the 8. Who is going to kick their goals? Jones looks promising but cant kick, they cant simply keep relying on their running game

Avoided the first game but before I saw how bad bulldogs were before that first game I put money on dogs +7.5 against pies. I heard how many the pies had out and that the dogs were almost full strength so I thought the dogs would win straight up. Just got over the line!

Think I might go for GWS +35.5, pies struggled to score with the young team and I cant see them winning by 6 goals
