I don’t have any future bet, but looking at Florida Derby this weekend; I find Conquest Warrior - the $1M colt out of City of Light is interesting. His tactical running style should serve him well.

From Arkansas Derby, Dimatic and Time for Truth are both interesting long shots.

realize it's easy to take an undefeated horse whose at very low odds relative to the time before the race..japanese horses have been doing tremendous in the big middle east races in recent years.. the male influences of the japanese sire are off the charts for class and stamina ..would be my choice amongst the ones you have

JB, I think I may be a bit too enamored with this guy. Those odds are a bit low I will admit but I think he is going to be a really good one. I just hope he makes it to the gate. If I am not mistaken he has to win or run 2nd over in Dubai just go make the field.

Batt, you should have some interesting entries on Derby Day. I like your odds to hit one and maybe double up with the sire futures. Domestic Product would fit nicely for you. Good luck!!!!!!

Like I said earlier, My dad likes doing these pools as it gives him something to follow... some picks are his and I don't mind throwing a couple of bucks at them.. just for the banter back and forth!

That is a shame Batt. You had him with some good numbers and he had a legit shot IMO.

I respectfully disagree. His Holy Bull race raises some red flags IMO. He may win but will be an underlay.

I agree with you ..even with the potential chaos of the derby he's a better, faster horse ..ran a huge figure, did it easy so you couldn't ask for a better setup..he also ran a very fast bc juvenile so it's no fluke .. as far as regressing after good efforts i think thats more coincidental and he's more mature and over it..post draw still a wildcard but aside from that I can see not getting cute this year and try to get value in exactas and triples..

Thanks for the notice ER. I saw this earlier also. I do not think he had much of a shot.

3 | FOREVER YOUNGOwner/Trainer: Susumu Fujita/Yoshito YahagiReal Steel—Forever Darling, by CongratsBreeder: Northern Racing (JPN)The struggles of UAE Derby (G2) horsesthrough the years have been noted in thisspace—they’ve never finished better than fifthin 19 Derby starts. So the obvious questionis, what is different about this year and UAEDerby winner Forever Young? His advantageis that he is already a proven internationalshipper, having traveled from Japan, wherehe went 3-for-3, to the Middle East, wherehe notched two graded stakes victories. Hearrived at Churchill Downs late last week andhas already taken a few spins beneath theTwin Spires—giving him about three weeksof on-track preparation for the May 4 Run forthe Rose
